Moo, I never even noticed the car.

Lynette....Are you packed? Are the kids too excited to sleep? When does our flight leave? Sunday?

Melinda, I have myself and the kids all packed. DH wants to do his own packing (and will no doubt wait until after midnight on Saturday ). All I have left to pack now is some cosmetics and stuff. You know, the stuff I can't pack until the last minute.

The kids are little whirling dervishes of energy and anticipation! We'll need to be at the airport around 7:30 on Sunday, and we'll be in Orlando just after noonish.

Lyn: Tim watched Burn Notice ALL DAY yesterday.

My DH loves Burn Notice too. It's one of the shows we enjoy watching together.

How did Tim's appointment go, Mony? I hope you got all the answers (and results) you were hoping for.

Scratch that....you snuck in while I was yammering on and on!

Natasha and I had early pedicure appointments this morning. She also ended up getting a manicure. My manicurist even did a cute little floral design for her - gratis! What a great way to start the day. She's been walking around all day admiring her fingers and toes. Heehee!

Cel: Honey you look fanstastic! Holy bejeezees! Just wonderful.

Well, he's clean.

His final diagnosis was Renal cell carcinoma, stage 3, and it was malignant which we were expecting. margins clear and no metastasis to three lymph nodes. The tumor was limited to the kidney.

The Dr. almost yelling at me, cause I was so on him about how certain he was in getting all of the cancer and he told me, "CAUSE I KNOW!!! I got it all."

It must have been the language barrier that I confused what he told me after surgery but they did nothing to his muscle. It was just pressing against it.

But because it's all gone, it's not a worry.

Althoug he does now have an apt. to see an oncologist for monitoring purposes only.


So, we paused in the hall way, hugged and kissed and sighed a huge sigh of relief.


Thank you everybody for all of your thoughts, prayers, wishes, kind words, and just letting me know that there are so many good people still out in the world who do care about others. I will always be grateful for your support of this.

Mony, I just went back and read your whole post about Tim's appt. What wonderful, blessed news! Thank God Tim's surgery was such a success! I pray that he enjoys a life of good health from here on in!

You and Tim have been on my church's prayer list for awhile now - my pastor called me this week asking for an update, so I'll be able to tell her tonight at the vestry meeting that all the cancer is gone!

Off to my meeting then back to the breadman's.

DS called today. He is going to 6 weeks of flight training to Colorado later this year. That is exciting, because flying is what he always wanted to do, .

He also said he heard no on base housing available at the Texas base, so he likely has to get off base housing, which is good in my book, no room inspections (who needs that at age 29?) But he will have to buy furniture and TV aand stuff. Depending on how fast he can find housing, he MIGHT ciome home for a few days.

So I am watching this show about Poluice academy recruits, because i figured io's probably close to what DS is goingg through now. They just had a part on where they said "if your chsest doesnt hit the water bottle on the ground ( for pushups), it doesn't count. Dang, I would NEVER make it!

I keep telling people about this great group of people that I have become "one" with and I get that ....yah right look.....but I know that you guys are the best....you kept me sane when I could of gone insane......with my mil and my mom passing away and then my eye surgery.......yup you are the best....I knew that probably all of the group was silently praying for Tims sucessful surgery and blessings on the results.....how great you all are...

Want to know what a great caregiver I was.....my friend was going to Nursing school and I cared for her two beautiful daughters...well the kids grew up with my kids and they would do singing to the songs and they were singing with a mike to Paradise by the Dashboard Light......and I never knew what the words were until my own kids were married.......and I thought OY OY OY......my poor kids...Naive babysitter for sure...

I always get excited when we go to Disney .....I lay in bed and now think of that commercial.....I;m to excited to sleep.......hahaha.....can hardly wait to go with hubby and relax in the HEAT and HUMIDITY of Disney.....hahaha

The camp site has wireless....

The kids just got out of the pool and are getting changed to go out and roast mashmellows.

This campsite is near the 1000 islands and bridge to the U.S. Wish I would have bring our passports.

I am sure we won't leave the campsite. Lots doing for the kids. Free too. Jumping castles, games at the pool and the movie under the stars tomorrow is Pirates of the Caribbean , at Worlds End.

Celery -- love the picture. You are melting away. You can't have any more to lose do you ?

Lynette -- hope you sleep tonight because I am sure if you are like us you won't be sleeping well tomorrow.

Mony-- Great news on Tim

I too love all the people that share this thread it seems like we have knew each other forever. Laugh and cry together. You guys are the best.
