:scared: Hey, I only pm you 3 times.:guilty:
The Cortona Inn and Suites where we're staying in Anaheim looks really goog. A lot of folks have said it's too far to walk, but they all had kids. The Big Guys should have no problems.
The storm reached us this morning. The heavens opened for about 20 minutes and washed all the humidity away. It's back.
Outdoor hockey? Where the crowd has to be as cold as the team? Youse Yankees is so  !

Lynette: Your dh may not be so easy going after he meets PJ....just sayin. In fact, he may want you to steer clear of the disboards altogether (not that she's CRAZY or anything)

WT: Tim the Tool Man Taylor? ha.

Monica and Sandy: the hockey game sounds like fun!

Other people: *insert witty banter here* does that cover everything and everybody? yay? nay? shut up bbn and mooove it on outta here? ok, ok

Hi all!
Budget review is over, W00T!!!!!!! All went very well. Just a couple of follow items, (which happens every year) to do tomorrow, and then I think I am going to take Friday off. I was thinking about that anyway, but then we got an email that we have to park in East Egypt Friday due to heavy drive in Convention business, so that sealed it!

I saw DD for a total of about 5 minutes today, she is off to spend the weekend with her BF in Jacksonville. At least she is safely back in the country.

We went to lunch at Panera after the review. Had a lovely Broccoli-Cheddar soup with a chunck of fresh French bread. See, I DID eat! (SIS, I'm not dieting, but been busy lately, so I skipped some meals).

MommyP, love the house!

Lynette and WT, Disney is gonna be HOT!

BH, I sent that DTD shopping pic to the DTD Finance Manager, thought she would like it.

Pumba, thanks for your concern, but I can't physically eat 3 meals a day plus snacks. But I do usually eat lunch and dinner.

Sandy, you can have all the DVC you want, it's great for members, just a thorn in my side, to put it mildly...

WARNING FEEL FREE TO SKIP: General DVC Venting: Doing Finance for a split resort (part DVC, part WDW) just puts a curveball into almost everything we do.
Is that number gross or net? What % does that split at? Does this split at all? Is that 100% DVC? What is the impact of room night shifts between DVC and WDW on forecast or budget versus target? How do we bill the increased cost for Duvet covers that are coming only to WDW? Is that Food & Beverage Capture based on WDW or Total population? You get the drift.........
It makes a difference because members pay for DVC (mostly), so that impacts their annual fees for actual billing, and just general analytical things for others.
Vent over!

Everone

I cannot wait for Chad to get home so he can see what I fixed him tonight!

He is going to fall over dead. I made his absolute favorite meal, which I haven't made in probably 5+ years. Country Fried Cubed Steak, freid okra, turnips(canned though) and mashed potatoes. PLUS a homemade sweet onion gravy to go over the steaks. And oh my goodness. It was better than The Cracker Barrel. Sooooooooo yummy!

Thanks everyone for the kind things you said about the house. Kay is right, the weapons are seen as antique(y) decorations. We've spent a lot of time going through people's junk to find those weapons. :rotfl:

I know you mean well, WT. I have to say I am sad you didn't take the time to go over the pictures carefully. I even left my breast pump thingamajigs on the counter as a item of good conversation. ;)

Now your staging pics for WT? :rotfl2:

Hmmm. Very observant. You should have been a detective rather than an attorney. ;)

I guess it was only the overall effect that I noticed, not the impromptu implements of self defense. Or maybe it's just that having an antique dealer in the family, I'm accustomed to any number of unusual old items being used for decorating. I suppose here, the impromptu weapons of choice lean more toward beaning a burglar with a cast iron "spider," whacking him with a rosewood rolling pin, or smashing a redware jug over his head. Hehehehe

As an antiques dealer I resemble that remark...lol

I have 3 barns er storage buildings full of stuff....and we have 4 cats a dog and 2 Guniea Pigs.:goodvibes

If you ever get up our way, you'll have to stop by and rummage through our stuff, maybe take home another storage-building-worth so we can free up some space here. ;) You can't have the cats, though, but sounds like you have enough pets of your own. :)

Sis and BH,

Please, please come rummage through our stuff and take it away. I will even throw in a fluffy white and brown cat for free!

Kay, I like your style! :lmao:

Hey! Who YOU callin' Lynette? You never call me by my name! It caught me off-guard! As for my DH, I'm guessing there'll be lots of eyerolling and head-shaking, but I've grown accustomed to that from him. I can deal. ;)

Anyone watchin So You Think You Can Dance?

Me! I'm watching with the kids. Can they pleeeeeease get rid of Comfort and Whoozits? I'm done with them both.

Me too.. I was done with Comfort last week ...cause she didnt do well in the elimination round.

Ditto. And Thayne (that's his name!) can go home with her. I'm not a fan of either one.

Yes ...I love cleaning out peoples attics for the stuff....lol

Yes I do belive you have picked the ones the ones going home tomorrow yet again

Yes, and for $13.95 an hour, I can tell you what the future has in store for you too.........:rotfl:

I liked the last routine (the Bollywood dance)! It was really good, and I didn't even expect to like it even a little.
