1. You had such kind words to say, it's almost like you like me or something!

2. At least she didn't pull a Monica. No, not mony Monica, Monica from Friends. Anyone ever seen that episode? Anyone? Come on, someone's seen it! And if you haven't, you should have. :snooty:

3. I just had my exit interview. The questions were reallllly great. They were things like "are you a compassionate teacher?" "do you value students from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds?" "do you think you'll make a good teacher?" It was really all I could do to not be a smart astarstar and say I have no compassion toward any of the little brats and then just walk away.
1. All kidding aside, of course we like you!
2. I don't remember that one (I'm sure I've seen it), but breadman and I were laughing our astarstar off the other day - they were showing the one where Joey has to appear to be a gentile from another time period.
YOU know the one I mean!
I can't go into anymore description cuz I'm an  , but that one is heeeeeelarious!
3. What the heck kind of lame astarstar questions are those? Geez! Just a little rewording and it would be better! "Explain a situation where you have shown you will be a compassionate teacher." etc!
Let me run your school!

4. A. II.
Where are you moving to?
Back home?
I was thinking you were in an apartment, but is it an apartment/dorm?

custom-made bedding with lighthouses
Did you hand applique the lighthouses onto the fabric woven on a loom using hand dyed thread from wool you sheared, carded, combed and spun yourself (after caring for the sheep)?

No! Don't be ridiculous! :snooty: I did personally make all his infant bedding though. Cross-stitched blankets, sheets, decorative pillows and wall hangings with teddy bears and a prayer on them. *sigh*

I just like things to be prezackly as I envision them in my head, that's all!

Hi, LilL! We DO seem to be crossing paths today, don't we?

Speaking of freaky, I'm reading a new Stephen King novel. "Duma Key" Anybody else read it? Celery? Am I the only one? Sheesh, people, work with me here.

Is it good? I didn't think it was supossed to be freaky?
I haven't read any of Mr. King in quite a bit.
Hmmm.
Maybe I will.
i'm just so into the whole "I'm a goofy/tough female and I solve mysteries" genre right now.
Ya know, Plum/Dallas/Miss Marple hee.

They're rereleasing a bunch of Agatha Christies!
And they're pertty!!!!
I want one!

Happy Birthday Celery's Mama!

Re Kid's Sports: I never played a sport past first grade but I find that our kids are soooo much easier to live with when they are in a sport or two. This means I am the sterotypical minivan driving suburban mama. For example this morning the twins and Goldenchild have gymnastics and this evening the twins have ballet and DS has a game. So I will be criss crossing town to drop off and pick up ballerinas and baseball players. DS is pretty much playing first base right now however he does pitch some. I think Goldenchild is going to be a lefty. The other result is keeping up with the laundry. I have a uniform to wash right now :laundy: :scared:

Martha Stewart: Your boy does sound like a sweetie. I am glad your shin-dig went well. Goldenchild also has a custom made nautical themed crib set. Only because I liked the fabric. I never did the whole room because it is kind of silly in Kansas and I am lazy. However it is the exact same colors as the Minnesota Twins ensemble that came with the house. And now that he is in a toddler bed we added a fighter jet pillow case because he likes airplanes so much. Of course Grasshopper's quilt is Beatrix Potter. No one can accuse me of being matchy matchy. Do you have hives yet????

BBN: It is :umbrella: here too.

Please don't forget the banned and missing DISers. Remember, we did nothing wrong. Our only crime was to post on an unmoderated message board that happened to also attract a few rude posters. Most of us are not among the posters who were making trouble. We either 1) Got caught in the cross-fire of the banfest 2008 or 2) Spoke up for our banned friends or 3) Chose to YAGE because we felt it was unfair to be here when our friends were unfairly banned.

You have been told by some DISers that most of these names are "fake" names created to stir up trouble. Not true. Most of you know us well. If you don't, please notice the numbers to the right of the names. Those are the post counts. We are people who have been members of the DIS for a long time and have posted thousands of messages. We have have laughed with you, we have have cried with you, we have have helped you solve your problems, we have celebrated the births of your children with you, and we have have debated with you.

Please also note that the "flavour" of the board is no different than it was before we were banned. You still have trouble makers, you still have people fighting and debating, you still have arguments, and there are still many angry feelings. Even if we are never brought back to the DIS, your boards are no different than they were a month ago at this time. All that has happened is that you have lost 105 of your friends. THIS WAS A MISTAKE!

Please don't forget us as we will never forget you. :sad1: :grouphug:

Can you stand one more tooth fairy story?

We were out of town this weekend. The redhead lost another tooth. He was concerned that the tooth fairy might not be able to find his exact location. His face literally looked like this Saturday afternoon::idea:

"Mom, since you had Santa's phone number, wouldn't you have the tooth fairy's phone number too? Can we text them and ask them if they know where I am and can I have TWO dollars this time?" (sidenote: my kids get $5.00 for the first tooth and $1.00 for each tooth thereafter)

What was I to do? I texted the tooth fairy. duh. Except I might have had to rename somebody in my cell phone in able to do this.:rolleyes1

So the tooth fairy texts back and says they can find him and yes, he can have two dollars. The redhead grabs the phone and reads the text from the tooth fairy and boy is he excited.

I said "See. I told you she could find you."

That has to be one of the cutest stories ever. :rotfl2: Good thing the tooth fairy keeps up on all this high tech stuff like text messaging. ;)

OKay (Hi Kay!)

Got 3 girls to sleep simotaniously (sp) and DH is off to orientate himself to his new job and I have time to breath for a minute and watch the paint dry. The "Nacho Chip" wall is so sunny and pretty! I love it! It has to dry before the glaze faux finish tomorrow. I also need to paint the laundry room with the cubbies.

So glad the red wall is gone!

PS: Am I the only one who kept picturing Julian McMahon during the incessant blather about Troy?

Awwwww! wook at him!!!! He's soooo big!

Dang, if he isn't the cutest darn bleurker in the whole wide world. Yes he is! :cloud9:  :flower3:

Thanks TMama!

He is a good looking kid. But, I think I have discovered the reason he pukes so much.

Wheat Thins

Brilliant deduction Sherlock... however he finger in the mouth is new in the last few days. So try again.

Here is a smiley one.

Twinkie! He's adorable!!!! Precious!!!

It's funny you posted that just now. DS came in about 30 minutes ago and asked if I could go to rentababy.com and see about getting us a baby. (Which is preferable since yesterday he asked if I could have another baby.)

Anyway I told him that almost everybody who has a baby is always looking to get rid of it for an hour or two every now and then. Unfortunately, I'm just not at the age to have a lot of IRL friends with infants.

So if you just lived a leetle bit closer, we would loooove to have him come over so we could love on him and spoil him a little. Or if you're ever in the area...the offer stands.

Good timing!!!

Still cute as ever !!

Lexi-- you will have to stand in line with Lynette and I.....

Happy Birthday Celery's Mom !!

You would be amazed at how much one needs their index finger...it hurts just to sweep the floor, who knew. Nice to have the kids dote on me though....

Hah! BBN, you Peej'd! :lmao:

Peej, that was a beautiful passage. It made me cry. Quel surprise, I know! I'm sure your g-ma was smiling down on you!

YOU cried??! Get out!! :scared1:
p.s. do we get First Communion pics here, there, or anywhere?

1. All kidding aside, of course we like you!
2. I don't remember that one (I'm sure I've seen it), but breadman and I were laughing our astarstar off the other day - they were showing the one where Joey has to appear to be a gentile from another time period.

1. Okay, I guess I like you too then.
2. Oh, I KNOW the one you're talking about. :cool2: Too funny! That Joey...sometimes I find similarities between myself and him. :confused3
3. I hereby appoint Celery Amber of Nashvegas official Headmaster of Xavier University. Best get packing, young lady, this job's in Cincy!
4. A. II.
I don't know yet. Plans are still be worked out but avoiding going back home would be the main goal. I live in an apartment but it's on campus housing and we have to be out by the end of next week.

He SLASH she: YOU are the freak. duh.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

And of course of read that! What do you take me for, a Peej?

Poor Nab! I say milk it for all it's worth, though. ;)

The threadbaby continues to be adorable.

I have been accomplishing things left and right today! It's amazing how much can get done when you don't spend the whole day in a school...who knew!?

Thanks everybody for the nice comments (and laughing in a nice way)! Gotta blaze.
