MOOvers, Huggers, and Pixie Dusters!

Good evening, everyone!

DH and I did a whirlwind cleaning of the Lalijack Estates tonight, so I'm just getting online now. Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, scrubbing, and the switchy/swappy of winter-y type garments to the attic storage to make room for nice-weather clothes (hello, capri pants!). This was after the Ice Cream Social at Boris and Natasha's school. Craziness! I can't wait for Spring vacation to begin as of tomorrow afternoon! A whole week with no lunches to make, no ungodly early rising, no homework to chase after! woo-hoo!



Allie, happy last day of your 30s!!! Now you join me and Wendy on our journey into our 40s (eeeeek!!!!) We should have a MOOvers weekend in New York. We could celebrate our milestone b-days, and the b-days of anyone else who'd care to join us!

Full disclosure: we are having the house appraised for a re-fi tomorrow, so I didn't want the appraise-y lady to see our squalor. The kids are upset because I made them straighten the bookshelves in their rooms. I'm such a mean, mean mom!

2. Uh, yeah. Did I ever tell you about how my DH went camping for a long weekend when Natasha was 2 weeks old? I was nursing every 37 seconds, plus I had an 18 month old who wanted desperately to "hep Mama" with the baby. As I recall, DH's words were, "You can take a weekend away whenever you want. Just let me know."

May I now remind you that Natasha just turned seven?

I must say I am tried of looking at this mess around here. With the weather so nice I want to go out. But I must be here for Ron, the kitchen guy . Who has a baby girl 6 weeks and lesbian sister who just lost a baby to SIDS and are trying again , and lives an hour or more to come every morning.I think I know every job he had etc. Can you tell I keep him company.....

I know. Priceless. I seem to get a similar reaction wherever I am. Wassup with that?

hello out there.......those photos are wonderful......first off Cel with her newest creations.......and you are looking mighty good young lady..

the dress up photos are great too....we did the Christmas Party a few times and hubby has a beard about that time of the year.......so with his santa hat on ...kids would go by and say......theres santa.....kids would break their necks trying to see him......then the parade went by with the reindeer and one of them came over and said hey what are you doing here....you need to be elsewhere.....kids were a gog and older KIDS were laughing ......we had a great time......then at the Halloween party...hubby and i trick or treated.......we had a blast....

That's cute, pumba. I've done Pirate and Princess and MNSSHP now but I really want to do the Christmas party. I was down there when it was still going on this year but we just never got around to it.

MY, OH MY, what a bunch of early birds around here today!!!

I am probably going to just wear a Pirate-y t-shirt or maybe buy some pirate ears. PJ and friends look fabulous!

What kind of cow figurines??!

I have quite a collection of Mary's Moo Moos figurines, but I don't think any of them were that expensive. I did pay $100 for a hand carved and painted one many years ago at a high end craft show though It has a farm scene painted on each side.

Moo, they're a series of collectible statues called "Cow Parade". Crazybossman has had them in our warehouse since before I started working for him (that was nearly 4 years ago). Google them.....they're kitschy and kinda fun, if you like that kinda thing. I've been after him to get rid of them for EONS, and he kept telling me that they were basically worthless. So today, I started this project and went to him with the results. I thought he was going to hug me.

Also, thanks for noticing I wasn't here. And yes I am definitely having Scrabble withdrawals! So sad.
