Allie- Athens to Montgomery and back or should I say bAACCKK! The longest I ever took kids on was 60 miles to Paducah.
UMA Caffeine is our friend.
Last night I slept like a log. Ususally do when I don't have to get up early.
Two days off with nothing scheduled, I think I'll spend it watching ball games. Our softball team plays at 2 and baseball at 6(against Vandy, cel) and it's in the 70's again. Sounds like a full day to me.
Pumba- goog luck with the procedure(or does that sound worse!). Google and check the wrong site and everything is scary. It'll be fine.

My floor is almost finished.....they are grouting it now. So far it looks beautiful.

And the kitchen people called me today too. My cabinets are coming tomorrow.

UMA-- glad Norah is feeling better. Hannah woke up last night to scream about having a bad dream. So in bed she came with us. No one here but Nicholas got much sleep last night.

Donald -- enjoy your days off. The sun is shining here too and I can here the birds singing. Hope Uma's snow doesn't find its way here.

Pumba-- I am with you know one touches my eyes. That is why I do not wear contacts either, can't bring myself to do it. Eye doctor has to trick me to do the drops too.

Allie-- That is pretty early school trip. Hopefully they will all be sleeping on the way back.

Marita-- I bet your son is pretty excited about today. Still waiting on those cabbage rolls myself....

I changed my location too, Wendy, cuz now that the weather is pretty that is where you can find me. Well, there or the baseball field.

Plus, we are having a "memorial" ride (in June) for a very dear friend of ours that passed away. They are going to scatter his ashes on the trail, b/c that is what he wanted. So, in honor of him, I changed my location and my signature too.

Pumba: I've had an eye surgery and I've had LASIK, so I know it can be overwhelming. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gosh I am so far behind, can I just give out a great big YeeHaw to ALL the moovers. Thanks!

FYI: Yesterdee I took Ethan to the doctor and when I was dropping him off at school, we get out of the van, and walk up to the cafeteria door and whaddya know, but a wild turkey is looking at her reflection in the window. (That would be a hen, and a male is a tom, and a young male is a jake. Did I impress you with my turkey knowledge, Pumba? Have you ever hunted one with a bow and arrow?)

ANYWAY, sorry stream of consciousness and free association going on there, isn't that funny? Only in Nowhere, IN do you find a wild turkey hanging out at the elementary school. Well, there or in Nowhere, Minnesota. Apparently they produce the most turekys annually, dont ask me how I know this.:teacher:

Awww, it's so awesome you're honoring his wishes!!! Great tribute

We don't have wild turkeys but have some serious pheasant action. Funny she was admiring herself. I thought Utah was the vainest state.

Bout' time...30 posts later! You!
NICE scrabble words, by the way, Lynt. :rolleyes1

Reason: LYNT!!!!! you suck, you know that right?

What? :confused3 Sometimes I have to interact with the tangible people in my life, you know! Jeez!

Yes, I suck. I knew that. You suck too, darlin'. Mwaaaah! Big kisses!

BTW, wanna play some Scrabble tonight, since I couldn't be around last night? :flower3:

Guess it could have been worse, you could have made your DH chase you down a fancy coffee drink.

You say that like it's a BAD thing!

UMA Caffeine is our friend.

Say it loud, say it PROUD, brother DTD!!!!! Can I get an amen?

Nope, not true. Oddly, my town has actually had trouble with wild turkeys hanging out at the elementary school. Since that's also the location of the town's soccer/lacrosse field and brand-spankin new overpriced playground, there are oodles of people attempting to remedy the turkey invasion in a humane and socially acceptable way. These people need a grip on reality......

Speaking of wildlife (and stream of consciousness postings), yesterday I took Mojo out for a bathroom break in the side yard. There were two young does hanging around under the huge spruce tree in my side yard. Mojo flipped out and started barking and going all tough guy on them, but they stared at him for a sec and then went back to nibbling the grass. I guess he's not as imposing a presence as he'd like to be. Poor little guy.

Yes, I suck. I knew that. You suck too, darlin'. Mwaaaah! Big kisses!

BUT just to clarify, we don't suck. If you know what I mean.

Big kisses right back atcha! Wait, that didn't help, did it?

SG: Awwww, poor Mojo! Now he needs to get his, well, mojo back.

Turkys in Bawstahn (area) who wudda thunk it?

Wendy: The memorial ride will be tough, but it will certainly bring back great memories we all shared on horseback.:)

Heh. How about if we both refrain from further comment on that one? Cuz this is obviously us:

Didn't help. :rotfl:

You say that like it's a BAD thing!
No, just probably not as convenient located as the local Chevron station (and their 72-ounce POP cups).

BUT just to clarify, we don't suck. If you know what I mean.
I'm not even going to go there.

Heh. How about if we both refrain from further comment on that one? Cuz this is obviously us:
Hmmm, maybe we can all borrow some boots from Crazynurse Ranch since the muck is getting deep in here.

Moo Hoo on the kitchen progress, Nabbie!!!!!! :woohoo:

It's finally pretty here too today!!! 68 degrees :yay:

That's sad about your friend, but I agree on what a cool tribute that is

I didn't know you've had Lasik, bbn! Me too!!! My eyes aren't all that sensitive, but that was still a little nerve racking. The Valium helped though. My eyes had reached the point where they couldn't tolerate contacts very well, so it was a Godsend to be able to get my vision corrected.

We have lots of wild turkeys around here too. But I usually only see them from a distance. Not like this!

Last edited by Minnie_Moo : Today at 05:23 PM. Reason: So . . . do the LoserMom's mouse pads really smell bad or are they just a carpy consolation prize???

It smells like a wet suit or a tire store. It's ON my hand ("Smell my hand?" )

I actually like the mouse pad, it's bright and cute, and fun!

OK on the Scrabble. I've been "refreshing" all day and only played a couple-a times. But I 'm not one to nag.

Hurry up and spank me and get it over with! Start a new game and I'll be there soonlike.

Consider yourself spanked, Wendee!!! By a smidge better margin that the last time. Finally. :rolleyes1

I know that stinky mouse pad smell. Fortunately, it usually goes away after a few months!!!

Unlike the seat on my exercise bike. Which STILL reeks after a year.

No thanks on smelling my bike seat. :teeth:

Ok, I'm all over it like stink on mouse pads...

Can I just jump right in? I'm in over my head in reading back. I do seem to have just walked into some sort of smelling situation which is perplexing me. :scared:

BBN...VFR. I hope that says it all. ;)
