He is rolling all over the place now and trying to scoot forward. He is also very close to sitting up with support.

He was 27 1/2 inches at his 4 month check-up(which was at 4 1/2 months) and 14lbs 13oz.

I can't believe how big he's getting!

Nab - I want to see picture of the new kitchen if you have some. Send them in a PM so they don't get lost on here.

MommyP, what adorable kids you have (and you and Chad are very cute too).

I LOVE the pics of Isaac :cloud9: Just want to grab him and hold him.

Us cyber moms make beautiful thread babies, LOL!

MommyP: Your boys are just so stinking cute. Thanks for the pics. I loved the one of Isaac hugging the Mickey.

Allie: Hot in the south? It was 85 today and humid in the North. Felt like a Florida day in the park.

what adorable kids you have...ALL OF THEM....I love the one with his little legs under him and his little fesses up .......so darn cute.......

thanks for sharing them with us

Mommy P-- you have such a beautiful family. Love the big blue eyes!! What are you going to do with all those kittens?

I have When Harry met Sally" for about the 12th gazillionth time. I love that movie! But I might fall asleep anyway........

Dang, where is everyone today? I must be missing some big parties!
Guess I'll go fold some laundry :laundy:

Hello MOOvers! Happy Memorial Day to all!

Marita....where were you yesterday? We waited for you! ;)

My cookout went extremely well, despite the last minute addition of all those people (plus a few I didn't know about until they rang my doorbell!). The weather cooperated nicely...it was sunny and dry with a great breeze to keep the bugs at bay.

We had a fantastic time, all of us, and I even managed to get the house back in order before going to bed last night, so I didn't have to wake up to a house in disarray (I HATE that!)

This morning, my whole family walked to a local coffee shop and had breakfast together, then DH and Boris marched with his Scout troop in our Town's Memorial Day parade. Natasha and I waited at the end of the parade route, and then watched as the Scouts took part in a special tribute to veterans.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing together. We watched some movies, played a couple of board games, and had dinner outside on the deck. I'd say that today was pretty much a perfect day! :goodvibes

Lynt
- I'm curious as to your menu? We're doing ribs and hot dogs for the kiddos (and me  ) Corn on the cob, Cowboy Beans in the Dutch Oven. What activities, if any, do you have planned? I'm asking because I need ideas besides Football or Volleyball. I suck less at volleyball, but still.

Wendell, we had salad, hotdogs, burgers, 3 kinds of steak tips, marinated chicken, 2 boneless pork loins (1 honey mustard, 1 sundried tomato), vegetable kabobs, Hawaiian shrimp kabobs, homemade potato salad, homemade pasta salad, and teriyaki portobellos. For dessert, I always do a make-your-own-sundae setup for the kids. I get waffle-cone bowls, a couple of flavors of ice cream, plus a bunch of toppings like hot fudge, caramel sauce, whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, crushed cookies, etc., and let the kids go to town. They LOVE it! I put the stuff out on picnic tables in the middle of the yard, so if they make a huge mess, I don't need to freak out. I also carved a basket out of a huge watermelon, and filled it with fruit. The only other thing I did for dessert was a few pans of brownies. Grownups also had the option of mojitos or watermelon margaritas.

For activities, we did horseshoes, darts and pool (we have a table in the poolhouse), plus the kids played bocce, basketball and baseball. My 2 kids were pretty ticked that the pool wasn't ready to swim in, but it would've been too dang cold anyway.

Marita, we watched Sleepless In Seattle last night.

FYI, I posted a Pre-trip tonight ;-) Yay, it's almost trip time!
It is storming here... AGAIN! GRrrr, I am tired of this carp every night!!

I said you are a cook-out goddess :worship: , and sorry I missed it

Yayyy! Be right there, Steph!

Thanks, Marita!

Hey, BTW, if I were you, I'd ignore your DH's protests about sending stuff to your son. My kids' school sends care packages on a monthly basis to soldiers. The most requested items are socks, underwear and snacks. Just saying.

Thanks, I just might do that. I just need his address, LOL. I wonder why soicks and underwear? I guess the dont have too much time to do laundry.

I was thinking tonight, maybe chololate, granola bars, chips or something, and red bull or something?
Oh, and cookies, i guess.

Tomorrow he starts to play cowboys and indians and starts shooting!! EEK

We had a nice visit and BBQ at my sisters , Justin was having a great time with his turtle sandbox I got for him.... we should have taken pictures...I need a new camera ...any good sugestions what type to get that are easy to use?

Sorry to have been MIA for so long. Thanks for asking about me, Nabbie!

I was at my best friend's house scrapbooking from 3-11:30 pm on Sunday and 1:30-10 pm today to help her get ready for her daughter's graduation open house. I completed a whole Disneyscrapbook on Sunday (30 pages) and probably 20 miscellaneus pages today. My friend was helping part of the time between painting, doing various odd jobs aroud her house, and cooking dinner for us. She and her DD were pretty pleased with the results. I figure it will take one more evening to finish up later this week. At least we had a nice weekend so we could have the slider to her screened in porch open!

MommyP! Loved seeing your pics!!! There are pics of me and Cel at Disney several pages back.

Hi, Sid! Long time no see. Hope all is well with you.

Lynette! I agree! You are the Cookout Queen!!! Wow ;)

Marita, glad you heard from your mom.

Well, I had better get to bed - back to work tomorrow. Our Internet went out so I am using my phone. Will try to catch up on my games tomorrow.

Hugs to all who need them.

Morning.

Went to bed sweating, woke up freezing. Crazy weather.

very cloudy looks like rain.

I get to read along to one of javamom's Trip Reports. I'm very excited:yay:

Moo: I have a friend who's a Creative Memories consultant. One Friday a month she holds a scrap night in her home with all her gadgets for us to use. My goal is to attend those more to get my pages done.

LG: Sounds like you all had a goog time.

good morning! Back at work. Yuck!
I had a good weekend with the breadman, the kids and the new kitten. Riley wants to play with the kitty SOOO bad, but the cat will have none of it!

We had a good time swimming, eating and relaxing!
Bill's ex brother in law has a pool, so both Sunday and Monday we had swim time.

Hayden's beurking was from 4 AM on Saturday and was over around 11 AM or so -
Her dad goes to work at 3 AM and gets back at 1 PM on Saturdays, so he missed all the fun.
She made it either to the toilet or the puke bowl each time, so clean up was a breeze.

I took Bill and the kids out for chinese on Saturday for his birthday then we met his friend from college and her family on Sunday for Mexican.
She introduced me two different times as "Bill's girlfriend Amber."
Hee.
I didn't flinch, just said "Hi! Nice to meet you!"

After lunch we took the kids to see Prince Caspian. It was good.
And ironically, I thought of Syd!
Hi Syd!
How are ya?
The beginning and ending of Prince Caspian is set in the London underground around either WWI or WWII.
They did not have "Mind the gap" signs, but they did have the red circle symbol.

I have a horrible fear that a guest will reach for something while at my house, only to find that I've just run out. Ack! I'd die of embarrassment!
It would be the end of the world!!!!! ;)

Off to church, Hannah is excited this is the second time for the host and this time there will be no pressure of where to stand when to to get up etc.

Have a Great Sunday !!!

I love your kids!!!

Alright, Martha! You're making the rest of us look bad! And to think I felt good because Bill and I cleaned his house yesterday! Geez!
I think my favorite part (other than the carved watermelon basket and elaborate sundae setup) is that you had everything cleaned up before you went to bed.
Geez!
Somedays I like to pretend that WT's lies about you are true. Hee.
Cat lady!

Happy fake Monday, everyone! Well, that's the way I feel, anyway. Because of the holiday, I woke up thinking it was Monday. Then Natasha reminded me that today is her Computer Lab day, which is always a Tuesday. So I'm feeling a bit lost today. Heh.

Lynette! I agree! You are the Cookout Queen!!! Wow ;)

Moo and Cel, practice makes perfect, that's all. I have hosted so many cookouts for so long that I can do the shopping and prep work in my sleep.

Cel, don't go drinking W@@T's Haterade. No good can come of that. Cat lady, indeed. :snooty:

Good Morning!

Lynette - You ARE the BBQ goddess! Dang! That sounded like a lot of work! And tons of fun. We never do anything but sit around the pool or on the front porch. lol. Thank goodness for the pool. It is super hot!

We had hamburgers and hotdogs. I even made homemade potato salad. Jeremiah helped me. He scrubbed the potatoes and raided the fridge for things to put in it. lol. It was yummy!

I've been walking early every morning with my Mom and Brother, then back to her house to swim some laps and cool down. What a great way to start the day! I feel so much better during the day.

Moo - Were you and Cel there on Wednesday the 14th?

mommyp - we were there! That was an Epcot day for us. We had lunch with Marita.

That sounds like a wonderful way to start the day! I always like to take a bit of time to do something fun in the morning...it makes the day go a whole lot better.
