GOOG MORNING!

Thanks for all the nice comments on the new tags! I made a rather pathetic plea on WTs thread when he had Tag Fairy comments in the title. I guess I was heard. Anyway, being in color totally rocks!

I also got a tag on TGM yesterday?! But it's gone today so I guess somebody was having a little April Fools fun. It said something like "never has a good hair day" which I believe I did actually post.

Watched Enchanted and Ratatouille with Mimi and the lil man last night. It was fun but I stayed up too late and then slept in late and feel a little headachey and hungoverish even though there was no drinking involved.

Rob....Did you buy any of that Coke stuff from KY? My friend sells that kind of stuff online all the time. In fact you probably know him....your basements are identical....only he sold you most of his Coke stuff. :lmao:

Marita
....I flunked Algebra II in high school. Is there hope for me to be a CPA?

Moo....Glad your ear is unplugged. I wish mine would come unplugged!

MommyP!
Isaac is adorable! Handsome, expressive, and healthy....the best kind of baby!

Congratulations to Moo, Marita, and Cel and their WOO-HOOTYS! :woohoo:

HAVE A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE!

Ack! My heart just aches wondering if she's had her feelings hurt. :sad1:

Wendy, I know for sure that isn't it. I asked her when I talked to her on Friday. She is just swamped with wedding plans, and her computer kicks her off if she tries to post. So she is lurking most of the time. :wave2: Sandy!

She was able to post a report on the racing reports thread about her race on Sunday, but that is all I've seen from her.

She still considers us all friends. :grouphug:

I should be doing all the final things to have my kitchen empty for tomorrow but I checked in here first.

Rob -- I prefer Coke too. Diet actually. I drink gallons of the stuff. I am sure it will kill me some day. I would be in heaven in your basements, you don't only have one pinball machine but THREE !!! I would take pinball over video games any day. I have three coke bear drink containers you can have. I got them at Wonderland with our drinks one summer, found them while cleaning out cupboards.

Hi Sandy...:wave2:

Where is P.J. , Babynurse, Pumba, ?

howdy.......still waiting for todays annoucement on the real ID crap...yah marie said crap......instead of carp......
Can you believe we are the only state left......Getting ready if need be to go to granddaughters college (almost 2 hours away) tomorrow and get passports for her too.....
I stress to much......I really do....I was awake at one am and then woke up hubby by accident.....and he said why arent you asleep......I said wondering what five documents I need besides photo id and birth certificate.....OY OY OY...I know i have to plan this stuff out.

today the winds were so horrible ......almost knocked me off my feet when I let Megara out to go potty....she is laying in her sunbeam on the living room floor......Hope you are all okey and have a great day

oh yah....those babies are just adorable and I want to hold them all

Good morning Moovers!

Not that I know of. Most of that stuff is new or replicas. The replica metal signs I mostly bought at a store down (down for me) in Branson, MO. The wooden Coca-Cola crates are real and I also have a bunch of old Coke bottles that I didn't take pics of because they are wrapped up and boxed away safely waiting for the day when the kids toys are gone and the basement shelves are all mine.

Oh boy. Maybe Windy had it right after all.

 Very funny.

Uh, four actually. The Space Odyssey is kind of off by itself to the right of the other three. I also have clear plexiglass over its backglass (the vertical "scoreboard" part of it) because it is real glass and is pretty much irreplaceable.

The whole purpose of the basement is to give the boys and their friends some place fun to hang out (keep 'em off the streets!) but DW and I enjoy it also.

Hi Twinkie, and Marita, and Celery, and Nab. I knew Nancy Drew would notice my absence (nothing gets by her, lemmetellya) but I see we have some more super sleuths amongst us.

I'm doing ok. Sometimes life hands you lemons and all that carp, but I am fine, and getting stronger everyday.

 to babycow

and  to Sandy if she's lurking!

rob - I LOVE your basement! what fun

as far as the coke vs. pepsi debate, I prefer to drink diet pepsi over diet coke, but I like all the coke memoribila.
or however you spell it.

I'm playing hooky today! Shh! Don't tell!
Lisa (who I carpool with) has sick kids, so I decided to stay home and do housework and homework. hmm. one load of laundry is in, but now I'm on here!
Bad!

Starting with the basement (note that the basement walls are more colorful than our plain antique white ones in the other "public" rooms of the house) which my father and I did most of the work in ourselves (it was a bare basement of concrete floor and walls when we started):

DW and I did the painting ourselves. The color changes in the inner corners (and the red walls in general) were a pain in patootie!

Vending machine was priced right -- FREE! I just had to haul it home (and then clean it up good including removing dead mice  before DW would allow it inside):

So...you like coke? It'll be reeeeeally hard not to hold it against you, but I have to admit the space is cozy and friendly, and best of all, colorful. The bright colors on the walls really look fabulous. (I have big plans for the boys new basement room that is a 20 foot square :yay: )

More in storage to come out when the toy space needs shrink and more stuff can be displayed on my built-in shelves (BTW, the shelves, seen in the pic with the stuffed bears in my last post, were professionally built and installed so Dad and I cannot take credit for them):

Thank you for no toilet shots. I love that you pulled the theme in there too!

Duh. It is, after all, the best soft drink in the world. :rolleyes1

Actually, that is all the Coca-Cola stuff in the garage. Most of the garage is baseball stuff and I didn't take pics of it.

She does let me have some stuff inside the "real" parts of the house:

I've got another one of these -- more old-fashioned styling -- in the Living Room that I failed to get a pic of:

Oh I see. Pretty much a hot collectible I guess since it's all over "that popular auction site". I may have to switch teams. Except Pepsi IS sweeter and you are what you drink.

RobIn- You did a great job! I dig the pin ball machines too!

Oh great. She is getting stronger:eek: lock up your wimmin and chillin', soon we will all be bullied into riding the Tower of Terror and not complaining while watching sporting events in the hotT summer.

Next time you are absent you might NOT want to sign the excuse note as "babynurse's mother" .....just sayin ;)

OK PEOPLE. Come play the riddle so I don't look like a loser.

1. Oh great. She is getting stronger:eek: lock up your wimmin and chillin', soon we will all be bullied into riding the Tower of Terror and not complaining while watching sporting events in the hotT summer.

2. Next time you are absent you might NOT want to sign the excuse note as "babynurse's mother" .....just sayin ;)

1. I first read that as I was going to make you guys ride bulls. Cuz after all nothing says cowgirl like riding a bull, and i have in fact rode a bull. ok a baby bull, not a full grown snot throwing, cowboy trouncing, horn prodding bull, but he did weigh about 500 ish lbs.

2. duly noted

3. sweet dreems

MommyP- Baby Isaac is so handsome! I love that one expression he had! SO cute!
Oh, YOU look so beautiful! Being a mama totally agrees with you....you practically glow.

Thanks. That's the Bare Minerals. ;)

Hey! Did anyone try the Everyday Minerals? I did and I thought it was too powdery and I couldn't get the color right. That's not to say I won't try again, seeing as how it's practically free make-up. :rotfl:

Nab - Little John...did I ever say last week what they thought it was? Something about her blood being mixed with his and so he is fighting to get rid of it. So if it's that his levels shoudl continue to rise. They did last week, his anemia was down though. But then this week his white blood count was low again and his anemia was up. :confused3 Who knows. I'll keep you posted. He's just the sweetest little thing!

Today is my giving birth day to Ethan. :dance3:

We got him toys that have been in storage for 2 years. And a pack of Tic Tacs.

Chad is home safe and sound. Thank googness. I thought I was going to lose it. :headache:

Twinkie - Your tags changed, again. What's up with that?

rob - I LOVE your basement! what fun
Thanks Cel!

1. Just a bit. Actually, when I was younger and could drink anything without any noticeable effect, Coca-Cola was my first choice. Now, I actually prefer to drink Diet Dr. Pepper but drink a lot of Diet Coke also because it's so readily available.

2. I still haven't been able to find a Coke toilet.

3. Love you too Wendee!

4. Hmmm.... :scratchin Well, I agree with you that the DRINK is sweeter. :rolleyes1

5. Thanks UM!

1. Happy Birthday to Ethan!
2. :cheer2: That's great news, MommyP! :cheer2:

Hello everyone! I am at home again today. Considering taking the rest of the week too. Bad, bad, bad! But I've gotten LOADS of stuff done today. Does that count for anything?

MommyP, I use Everyday Minerals. I don't have to mix much, but my skin is very fair and has blue-red undertones, so that may be why. You're right about it being practically free. LOVE that! If you poke around their site, there are recommendations for colors depending on the undertones in your skin.

I am also trying RAW Minerals at the moment, thru a promotion I found at an online group I'm a member of. Their stuff is pretty good too, but far spendier than Everday Minerals, and so less appealing to me. ;)

Happy birthing day, BTW. And happy b-day to Ethan!

Hey lookee, everyone! I spotted a BBN! Imaginary that!

Hi E!

Wendeeeeee, go take a look over there. Luvyasmooches! ;)

Lynette - I can't figure out what my undertones are. I think that's my problem. Bare Minerals is more of an adapt to your skin tone make-up, rather than a get the color type to match your skin. You don't find it too powdery, though?

Taking pictures. At the dump. From 150 yards. YOU?

Wheat Thins

Taking out of focus, half body, goofy faced pictures, of course.

I'm also wracking my brain as to what I can put(out of place) into pictures I take to drive you crazy.

MommyP, take a look at the inside of your wrist. If the visible veins have a greenish look, you have yellow undertones. If the veins appear more blue, your skin has blue undertones. I find Bare Minerals more adaptable to yellow undertones, so I'm guessing that's what you have.

I don't think Everyday Minerals is too powdery. I just think that the application method has to be different from the Bare Minerals way, to adjust for the different consistencies.

I still want to try Sheer Cover. Just to compare and contrast. Has anyone tried their stuff? Can you tell I'm a beauty product junkie??? :rotfl:
