I ended up with a migraine after grocery shopping this evening :headache: Even though I laid down for a while, I'm still in the post-flashy light pain stage. At least I can see again. Sorta.

I looked at the store for Twilight, but no luck :sad2:

MP, glad to hear about your gifts! Too bad $500 doesn't go very far at WDW!!!

w00t! on Grasshopper's new trick! :thumbsup2

I won't be playing any Scrabble tonight :guilty:

Cheryl, I get those too. I am so sorry. Hope you feel better those are just aweful. Sometimes I seriously think about cutting my head open to release the pain. Weird......I already know that.

Awww. Our oldest used to call it Bath-tism which makes sense since all he had seen was "dunking" version. At our last church, we started calling it "Sackatism" from a skit where a well meaning but flighty character thinks they way to increase church membership is to randomly place baby pools around then sneak up and tackle unsuspecting people into them. :lmao:

1. Hmm. Maybe it can be arranged. I will need that pinky promise however.
2. Sorry you feel wuckety. Goldenchild has started pronouncing things "wucky"... reminded me of Boris! Three parties - wow- you are Martha Stewart! How did the ear piercing go? The twins want to do theirs (and get cute little reverse bob haircuts but Mr. Twink is a no go on that).

MP- nice haul! 9 month onesies allready?!?
Mony- speaking of our thread babies: we NEED Maddie pictures :) My kids are all freaks. They don't learn to sit up until after they can crawl. I know, wIerd.

and MOOOOOOOOHOOOTY on the magical fridge.

Tomorrow I will smother you in pictures. I always miss yours cause you poof them too quickly. Pm me next time.

1. w00t for Grasshopper!!!!! Are there any new pics of said miraculous child? Cuz I missed the blink-and-you-miss-'em flash post last time. And I pinky promise not to tell Mr. Twink that his newest progeny appeared on the DIS. For serious!

2. IDK about E and LilL, but I am still recuperating from whatever hideous ickiness Boris gifted to me on Thursday. Not quite sick, at this point, but not well either. In Boris' words, "I just feel wuckety." We had to cancel Natasha's family birthday party, which was scheduled for today. Luckily, she's already had 3 parties, scads of gifts, AND gotten her ears pierced, so she didn't really feel like she missed out on anything.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. ::wave2::

I hope you are feeling better. Hugs but not too tight k? Don't want to force it out!

Thanks for asking- the be'urking is MUCH improved. However, being as it is Sunday, he exploded out his diaper 20 minutes after arriving at church. Changed him, put on the emergency duds. He grinned. Cooed. Then be'urked ALL over my clothes and his. Spit up may be my new signature scent. ;)

Anyway- hugs on your stressfu week!

I was there last week. 5 out of 6 J's got it. Hope it passes quickly.

1. I super-duper pinky promise. Honest to googness, even.

2. Thanks, Twink. (And Marita too.) Wucky. I like it. Let's add it to the lexicon, as a variation of wuckety.

2b. The 3 parties were no biggie, really. Party #1 was her in-classroom party, held at their usual snacktime. Moms bring (nut-free) snacks and the class does a little celebration. #2 was just the inhabitants of our house on Natasha's actual birthday, marking the day with an after-supper ice cream cake. (Side note: This year, Natasha declared that she no longer desires traditional birthday cakes, since she's "not so much for cake". So she specifically requested an ice cream cake. Oy.) Party #3 was for her school friends (ten 7 year old girls in a pottery studio with the High School Musical soundtrack and some pizza. Am I completely out of my MIND?????)

2c. The ear piercing came immediately after the pottery party on Friday. She was a TROOPER, I tell you what! Never winced. Not a tear, not even a sotto voce, "ouch". And she was VERY apprehensive beforehand. She even insisted on bringing her teddy bear with her to hold onto.

Also, she's been great about remembering to clean her lobes with the solution 3x a day. Of course, it doesn't hurt that my mom has already promised her diamond earrings once the 6-week healing period is over. Harumph!

ETA: Thanks for the gentle hug, Mo. I needed that.

Damond studs, huh, L? Cool!
That reminds me, I inherited a diamond ring from my rich (and childless) aunt many years ago. I should go cash it in,since I will never wear it. Hope it's not lost in the bowels of the house somewhere.

The stress between work, mom being so sick, the need to go there, and son's AF career still in limbo is really getting to me.

OH Marita! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Mony - Congrats on the magical finding of the fridge! :thumbsup2

Wendy - I don't think I said it before either, but Congrats on Riley's baptism. I know you were so proud even with the family drama. :cool2:

Yes, indeed, Wendy...congratulations on Riley's baptism!

Thanks you guys!

That boy of mine is so stinkin' cute.

Lynt- diamonds! princess: I'm really proud of your dd.
I hope you feel better too. <gentle now.
We do 3 parties too. One in the class. One with just family on the actual birthday. One with "friends" on a convenient Saturday.

Allie
- I'm so proud of you running! You've really come a long way

Monica-We'll co-miserate tomorrow. I have 2 newbies starting. You'll all remember Pooh Girl? Her and her darling little baby brother are starting 3 days a week. Now, don't quote me on this, but darned if Pooh Girl is 100% better since that baby was born. She's actually wonderful now. She's come over for several trial runs and play dates. So this will be a grand total of 2 infants age 6 mo. and 2 3 year olds AND Norah who's 3 too. I also have a 7 year old tomorrow coming for the week (except wednesday) who is "off track" from her year round school. She is not very princessey and is more into boy things. I will polish her nails if it kills me. :cutie:

Everyone Goodnight!!!!

Are there pics of this ceremony? C'mon, share, dangit!

Thanks for the well wishes! I'm thinking that I might take tomorrow off (I already took off last Thursday and Friday because Boris and I were feeling wuckety....perhaps I need just one more day?). The laundry monster needs a goog beating, and I'm sitting here making a mental list of all the other things I could get done if I stayed home tomorrow.........

Hello Moovers! Full and busy weekend here in KC. Congrats to Riley on his baptism.

Rob....You were right! That was a typo. I meant 1981. Yeah. That's what I meant.
I thought as much. :thumbsup2

Sorry RobIn! I forgot I nic-named you.(Flirty Mc Flirtington!)

Marita noticed it because she must have lurked on the peep thread.
I did mean to share our news last night with yous, but it slipped my mind. :confused3 Which happens.
1. :rolleyes1
2. Hmmm... lurking sounds so much better than stalking.

I have been relaxing all day. It feels like I'm coming down with a cold so I have been watching TV, napping, and taking Airborne all day.

Hello to all!
1. ACK! Hope you can fight that stuff off Cheryl!
2. Howdy!

Did I mention that my group number came up for jury duty Monday? I was hoping I'd skate through without having to report
My DW was a potential juror for Monday but her number did NOT come up!

Marita....I cartooned myself too! It was fun! I picked the beach girl with the shells. Heh. Glad your laundry is not complaining. I showed my laundry who was boss yesterday.

Rob....The girls were hogging the computer all day yesterday! I KNOW! Emily kept youtube-ing Seussical over and over. Then Mimi came home and used the computer to set up her UK computing acct and advising conference. Kids!

1. Melinda! Every time I see that shell pic I wonder what the back of that outfit looks like. :rolleyes1 (Maybe that sea creature wraps around somehow. :confused3 )
2. :rotfl2: What would we do without our precious children? Be bored out of our minds, I guess. :)

she's really into the websites now - including an online community dedicated just for twilight people.
geez!
what a loser! ;)
Yeah, I will just never understand how some people can think they have a connection with people they've never seen in person.

Driiiink Moo!

Hypnotic.gif
Why do I have a sudden urge to drink Moo? As if that's even possible!

The big news here is that Grasshopper can roll front to back AND back to front. He has amazing head control and can hold his own weight on his feet for quite some time. Looks like we named him well and I will soon have two ninja children. Should I just go ahead and dye my hair gray to get it done with?

:wave2: to Moo, Marita, Cel, RobIn, DTD
1. Woohoo!
2. :wave2: back at ya Twink!

I ended up with a migraine after grocery shopping this evening :headache: Even though I laid down for a while, I'm still in the post-flashy light pain stage. At least I can see again. Sorta.
Moo! A cold and a migraine? Get yourself better soonest!

Lynette! Here's hoping you get better soon also!

5 out of 6 J's, Mony? Is that a reference to your family members? Curious because I live with 5 J's -- DW's name starts with J and so do the names of each of my four sons.

GOOG MORNING, EVERYONE! :sunny:

Two kids spent the night out last night and I only had the old/easy one here so we watched a movie that I already had here from Netflix. It was called "The Seeker". It's a new release and I thought it was really good. Looks like a kid's movie but has adult appeal too.

Going in early this morning to the *wucky* job that I do on my day off from the other job. Trying to be home to be with kiddos this afternoon.

Monica....YAYYYY on the fridge. I can hear it now...."Give them a fridge....any fridge....so that Monica woman will quit calling." Can you have your current fridge person mark the fridge or put stickers all over it or sumpm?

Lynette....Good to hear from you! Sorry you've been feeling wuckety. I think one more day off is just what you need.

Rob....If I'm in the shell outfit, you don't WANT to know what the back looks like! :scared:

Twink.....Why always at church! :lmao: Babies have a sensor, I think! Congratualtions (?) on the rolling over. By the third baby I was always like...."NO, BABY! Be still...rolling over is no fun! Don't do it!" I find that once they can roll both directions, they can *roll* to almost any place they want to be.

Moo....Hope the head is better today. Is it those fluorescent lights at the grocery?

Marita, Cel, Wendee, ever-body
......:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Morning. No more sleeping in for me. DH is traveling the next 3 weeks.

Wendy, I see your 2 infants, 2-3 yr olds, your pissy, and 7 year old
and raise you 2 3yr year olds & 1 2yr old.

My helper has to actually come this week.

Rob-the J reference was for our second name we all have in common. There's actually 4 M's, 1 Z and 1 T.

I love J's though. DH didn't.

Lynette stay away from crazy boss man as much as possible. He could make you relapse.

Selling gold is at its all time highest. DO IT! I plan on doing it soon.

All the #1 seeds made it!

Have a great one, I'm gonna be busy.

Did you hear? We found our fridge!:yay: :rotfl:

Monica....YAYYYY on the fridge. I can hear it now...."Give them a fridge....any fridge....so that Monica woman will quit calling." Can you have your current fridge person mark the fridge or put stickers all over it or sumpm?

It IS March 31st right?

Then WHY is there a bum load of fresh snow out there this morning!

Monica- the 2 new ones just called...may not be coming. Their daddy is in construction and THERE'S SNOW today. So I'll be having a cushy day as usual.

RobIn- Please do not drink Moo. I forgot the comma which changes the meaning entirely.

Oh, girls lurk, boys stalk. Kinda like fluff and fart, glow and sweat.
We know you don't stalk, just messin'.

Twilight Fans- There's a very funny (but not very well written) Fan Fic if you. It's adult themed though...don't let your tweens and teens read (rated PG13/R-ish) http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3359121/1/ S'Good.

Stupid snow!

1. Precip here today also but the high is supposed to be 71!
2. Uh, yeah. I don't stalk, at least not IRL. And it's so much harder on the DIS with the weak search capabilities we have now. :cool2:

Ugh...just a quickie to say:

Cushy day is officially over!

Amber, our female Golden Retriever got out and is no where to be found. So DH is home to troll the neighborhood and Animal Shelters to try and find her. :guilty: If you are a praying type person, say a quick one that she's safe. :guilty:

And, I got an "emergency" call from a frantic mama needing daycare for her 2 lil'ones. One is barely 2 and the other is 6 mo. Both kids are awesome and she pays very generously for last minute pitch ins.

So the 2 that didn't come today were replaced.

So maybe I can come play on the computer during nap. :confused3

If not, have a lovely day!

Wendy - Said a prayer too! And on a snowy day, not the kind of day to be out wandering. Sending her :goodvibes to find her way back home.
