If we do well that is.[/U] If not, we will be forced to move out of this fine state to somewhere SOUTHERN  and have to change our last name to MacGhillicuddy and start a Llama ranch and live in a double-wide and drink Coke! :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: !!!!!

So wish us well! (swish us well!)
Some of my fondest childhood memories center around the llama farm. It sat on Old Third about halfway between our house and our church. The farmer's name was McGregor and we always sang Old McGregor had a farm, eieio. On on his farm he had a llama (buffalo, goat, ostrich) eieio. One of his goats had triplets, rarer than people doing it, on the coldest night in Loo uh vil history and named them nineteen, below, and zero. Three boys killed his buffalo and went to prison for 20 years. They were endangered then.

GOOG MORNING!

Rob....Moo's right! DOOK TO WIN?! A travesty! I wouldn't pick them even if I thought they'd win. On principle!
You people never let anything go. It was 16 years ago. And y'all always spell it that way, but the rest of us know that Duke's middle name is uk.

Christian Laettner ran into me once. He stepped on my foot. Which is the real reason I can't dance.
Was that '92? He stepped on a lot of people that year.

Been working too much to make up for last week, worked 12 hours today. BTW, Rob, when Duke ain't a 1 seed, they have to stink. They won't make it to the sweet 16.
Looks like next week for my interview. Gotta find a 'puter mike somewhere.

May 17th. I don't know what time. When I read your post I thought it said May 9 at 3am. :scared1: Does that mean it's time to go to bed?
You are safe, you can sleep through the night. PJ!
I, on the other hand have to get up at the ungodly hour of 7 am, if not earlier.

So are you done with working at Disney now?

Yes, 3am is bed time. Even I know that!

-- Rob
No you don't, you know nothing. Get it right.

I have to get up before that ungodly hour tomorrow, Marita! More parent-teacher conferences before school starts. :sad2: I don't yet have a plan for this summer, it will all depend on whether I'm moving or where I'm working, etc. But, I would say at some point I'll likely make a jaunt down to Hollywood's and work at Chef Mickey's.

Cool, we will have to plan a meet then!

Evening, folks. DD made it back to school safely :goodvibes

Moo, what is your DD studying again that would make a lamb and lavender internship helpful?
Marita, sustainable and community-based agriculture (e.g., local products sold at farmers markets) is related to urban planning. The goat's milk soap is sold on-site and at a farmers market.

Hey, Marita, After dropping my DD off at the airport, I went over to my cousin's (the one you met) house for a visit. She is home from Florida for a visit. I think she is interested in doing a cruise with me sometime in the future -- maybe even a Disney cruise!

If Joe's comment related to Moo U was meant to imply that I went to school at Michigan State University, I did not go there!!! Or is there also a Moo U in KY or NC?

PJ, MOO HOO on Spring Break starting soon.

Hiya Steph! Your ticker is looking better and better :thumbsup2

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Not much time to chat this morning. Gotta get some clothes washed we're hitting the road today.

Emily is in a tournament this weekend in Bowling Green....where I know NO ONE! Or at least no one who would say that Dook's middle name is UK...cuz everybody know's it's OO! :snooty:

I'll check in sometime this weekend.

And! I just remembered that my 180 day ADR time for my imaginary September trip is on Saturday! :scared: I better charge the cell phone.

Take care and have a goog weekend everyone!

Mony, Yay on the mid-term grades and yuck on the be'urking!
I forgot, what are you going to school for again?

Special Education

Congrats on the midterm grades! :cool1: Hope the little people are starting to feel better.

Thanks, it's the big peoples turn I guess. DH was up at 4am and it wasn't pretty.

I felt like I needed to go help him, hold his hand, wipe his brow, push the handle on the toilet, but I just went back to sleep.

He never yaks and this was a first for me. It was very theatrical.

Lex - Good thing I'm not going through lexington to say hi to you, eh?
I'll wave to you and donald on my way tomorrow!
If you want some bacon cheeseburgers too, I'll throw em out by the silo that looks like a ****ie.
hehehehhe.
That thing always makes me laugh.
It's somewhere on the south side of bowling green.
If you don't know where it is, I'll throw a few cheeseburgers out when I pass the corvette museum too.

To all - I'm going to Billings, Montana on Monday - so if there's anyone I should wave to, let me know.
It is awful close to South Dakota.

GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!!!!
Sunset-Beach.jpg

Just a few more hours until Spring Break officially begins! Now if only we were all going here, things would be perfect!

Lexi....have a safe trip.

Moo....glad your daughter made it home safely. Hope you had a nice visit.

Marita....yes, we'll have to meet for sure next time.

Have a nice day, all.
:grouphug:

There is probably a Moo U in just about every state but the one I was referring to is about 30 miles from where your daughter is going (which is where Twinkie and her hubby went to school).;)

Well for someone that didn't know any better than to go to Moo U this is perfectly understandable. Of course over any significant period of time you would be wrong more than you would be right.;)

Ha ha! :rotfl: Nothing like an ACC rivalry. I think you are right but as true fans we root for Duke when they play Carolina every time. I would have liked to go to Duke but it was full of too many spoiled rich kids (no offense to any spoiled rich kids out there) and I just couldn't see spending that kind of money. And Moo U was one of the Top Five schools in the nation for my major :snooty: ;)

Ship me out to the REAL Midwest for Spring Break and I'll teach them more ballet than they ever wanted to know.
Hmm... :scratchin
Twinkie....If he stepped on your foot, were you close enough to actually see the 666 on his head?
I was close enough but as he is just a wee bit taller than I am, I didn't notice.

Was that '92? He stepped on a lot of people that year.
Nope. Earlier than that. Maybe I was the inspiration?

PS Nice goat story.

He never yaks and this was a first for me. It was very theatrical.
Oh no Monica! I hope you don't get it too!

To all - I'm going to Billings, Montana on Monday - so if there's anyone I should wave to, let me know.

Just remember in places like that you need to bring enough for the whole state. Seven cheeseburgers should be enough.

The kids are dancing around because it is a long weekend with no homework and Easter is around the corner. Hubby is off tomorrow too !!

Here is a laugh for you....Nicholas was walking way ahead of Hannah and I. To cool to be walking home with Mom. Anyway he stops at the end of the street and is talking to another kid. When I get there Nicholas looks down and says that is a condom Mom..... Yes there on the side walk was an orange condom and it's package. I asked him how he know that was what it was...the other kid told him. Then he told me that it was a drug and he know it could kill you. So now I have to tell him what it really is ......will it never end. Can't they stay babies forever.

UMA -- I am going to send him to you....:rotfl:

P.J.-- I want to be on that beach, where it is warm and peaceful. Hope you enjoy your spring break.

Mony-- stay away from the sick hubby. Hope you don't get it next or the kids get it back. Forgot to say :woohoo: on your marks.

I feel like I need to be verrrrry quiet around here. Yet I'll scream anyway. Because I wanna! Not that I'm ever contrary.

SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11 glorious days. I had a great conversation with a first grader today. She asked me where I was going for Spring Break. I told her nowhere, I was just staying home and relaxing. She looked very puzzled and paused for a moment and then said "so they just let you stay in the school the whole time?" I asked her what she meant. She just said "teachers live at the school, right?" :rotfl: Man, I love 'em. Crack me up!!!

Shall I pack my bags?

P.J.-- I want to be on that beach, where it is warm and peaceful. Hope you enjoy your spring break.
Thanks, Nab. :) Hope you guys enjoy your long weekend!

Here's my current quandry: I got home just now and it was really hotT in here. And it's never hotT in here, have I mentioned that? ;) I looked and the thermostat was on 78. Which is not what I left it on. Then I noticed my bedroom light was on. I guess I could have left it on this morning, but I really don't think so. Went down the hall and my roommates' doors were both open and their lights are on too. Yet all of them are gone for Spring Break. And I know they're not back yet. It seems as if someone has been lurking about my apartment today. Color me PJ. I blame Physical Plant. Or maybe it was Cel!

Yoou mean our half of the Dolly Parton museum? Near Indianapolis, there are two, one on either side of the road. We call that cleavage pass. (They are actually for storing road salt)
hehehehhe.
That thing always makes me laugh.
It's somewhere on the south side of bowling green.

I work right behind there. If you look carefully from the bridge before the exit, it's the pentagon shaped building with 2 additions.

To all - I'm going to Billings, Montana on Monday - so if there's anyone I should wave to, let me know.
It is awful close to South Dakota.

Maybe your mom should join DAM(mothers against dyslexia).
WKU plays tomorrow at 11:30 and I haveto work till 11. Ot is great, but is wearing me out. I'll rest neaxt week.

Ok, in a million years you won't believe what I've been doing for the last hour.
Here's a hint: Playing baseball in our culdesac with our whole neighborhood!
I KNOW!
I kind of suck. But it was fun.

And, the ice cream man made his rounds too, and made a pretty penny off our game! Mind you, it snowed lightly late last night, early this morning.

YAY! I love Spring Break!
