Not to be the biggest total geekface, BUT, I just went to the fabric store and got the fixings to make 2 full on gorgeous jumpers for the girl and nothing for the boys....because I already ordered the pokemon fabric so don't feel sorry for them too much!

Fabric Stores are my happy place!

Cy-- Costco cakes are so good. And huge did you eat the whole thing! You will be sugar overload like Twinkie.

We didn't eat the whole thing, but 7 of us almost ate half. It was so full of sugar and chocolate that DW couldn't sleep last night. She woke up at 3 AM and did homework and graded papers. She didn't even go back to bed - God help those 6th graders if she gets grupmy!

Heading out for the weekend.

Hope we don't get snowed in going to my Uncle's funeral. They are 3 hours north and in a snow belt.

We also have a new Canadian Holiday called Family Day on Monday so it is a long weekend for most people. Office workers not so much because if they have personal days already from the company they can have this day but have to give up one of their alotted personal days.

I saw Definitely, Maybe and thought it was a great movie (I even heard a guy sitting near me say how much he enjoyed it). Which was surprising to me because it was pretty chick flicky.

Just returned from The Spiderwick Chronicles which would be a really good movie if you're 7-11 and you have NOT read the book. Because the movie is all made up and nothing like the book. FYI. (oh! but there are some goog cameos from Nick Nolte and Andrew McCarthy. I loved him in Pretty in Pink!)

Then to Fazoli's for a dozen breadsticks to go with our noodles at home. Busy night.

Melinda- those leaf dwelling critters are creepy-dee. I'm sure they'd give me nightmares. Yet I want to go watch the movie. I'll just sleep with the lights on!

BREADSTICKS are the devil's tool (to me!). The main ingredient is cellulite, followed by guilt, remorse, lack of self-esteem, lack of boyfriend, spare tire, muffin top, cottage cheese thighs and double chin. They set off a carb spiral in me that will go out of control.

Story of the day"

I woke up late today. ( Surprise!). But no meetings, and I can do everything I need to do from home. So I sent emails saying, I am working from home today.

About 12:30 my son calls on speculation that I might be home. He had a root canal, and it is killing him.Can I please bring him dad's hydrocorsone for the pain? I said, son, I am working, but OK.

He gives me directions. a good 35 minute drive to get there. Go there, turn here, then go to Research Parkway. Turn left first light onto such and such drive/
So I did, I could not find such and such drive/
OK, maybe I wrote it down wrong.go back,turn right
Nope
second light left? Nope
second light right? nope
I call son
he said, first light, research parkway, turn left
I say it'san office building.
Yes, I am at an office building he says.
so I turned around all the way to main road and park by the office building. Son says he is coming out to find me.
No, no luck.
He says he is going to the intersection. So I go to the intersection.
No son in sight.
I said, maybe it is the second light?
yes, maybe he says
Nope, no son to be found.

Then he says, wait for it.............




















Oh wait, it is not research parkway, it's Challenger Parkway!
Never mind, thanks anyway. And he later got pills from someone else.

On top that,I got lost on the way home.
So I spent 1 hour and 40 minutes today for absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!

Moo reporting in! I did indeed decide to take the day off.

I saw my wonderfu nurse practitioner this morning. She gave me an off work slip for the next week in case I feel it will take that long to de-stress. And it also covers working intermittently if I should choose to do that - we'll see . . .

I think I am going to go see a movie now!

today my little gkids were here....the two of them are so darn cute and ACTIVE..did I say that.......my princess wanted to be in my lap with her clowny and her two fingers to suck on....she is wicked cute....my prince is a character and already wants to play knock knock jokes on his gramma........I love them and they are so cute.

we had chinese pie for supper and it was good ....had more carbs then I needed but now I am hungry again......so what can I snack on....hmmmmmmmmm .be back later

ME TOO! I was in so many weddings. And then I ran off and got married. So I didn't get to *pay back* my friends. They had some 30 women dress up in old bridesmaids dresses here to go see the 27 dresses movie. They had an article in the paper about it.
