Wendy - My daughter just walked up to the 'puter, and said that is Mary Kate and Ashley, so I would say, YES!!!!!

Yes she does Wendy - and I thinik you would totaly rock the PTA!! (or is that the pain in the... never mind!! :rolleyes1 ) which reminds me I'm supposed to be planning the Valentine's Day party :sad2: Vote for me so I can skim off the top and buy into dvc :rolleyes1

Poor LBJ he got no respect... (and Mrs was responsible for most of the flowers along most of today's highways too!!)

GoofyDad you should so run the marathon and stay BCV!!! (I did, cant do it in '09 tho! but look out 2010 -

you know saying "oh nine" sounds ok, but saying "ten" sounds weird, but "oh ten" is just wrong isnt it?? cant wait till we get in the twenties!!

Sooo, for PJ, since she didn't like my other joke.

An obviously disturbed man walks into the Shrink's office and says. Doc, you have to help me. I have this problem. First I think I'm a teepee, then a wigwam, then a teepee, then a wigwam. Back and forth all day. Teepee, wigwam, teepee, wigwam. It's all I can think about. WHAT is wrong with me?

The doctor says, "That's easy pezee lemon squezee. You are two tents. (get it too tense)

Wheat Tents

I agree with Cel. I like your stance on the issues. However I would like some clarification TMbbn on the second..... I get that you are tall, thin and attractive and thus have NO problem getting on any ride... what I meant was if you had a roller coaster lovin' child of approximately 39 inches would you support buying cowboy boots, hooker shoes or a hairbow the size of Texas to help them be all they can be?

No, we just stuff their shoes with a wad of Toilet paper and teach them to stand tall, then put a bow in their hair the size of Texas. Except the boys who get new spikey hair dos to help them "be all they can be". Thank you for the clarification TMbbn. Tall yes. Thin only when compared to a bus or other wide metaphor.

page 3!! :scared1: How am I supposed to find you guys???

Usually by the time I get to page 3 somebody else has posted, and I cant find you...

Hey, dh tonight... he made homemade bread to go with the "onion tart" I tried to make... dratted onions did not carmalize, so after an hour I decided to make a "quiche" well, that took an hour to bake... :sad2: and so as he is handing out his bread... (YUM!!) I said "I'm sorry I screwed up dinner" he said "what? you want Ice tea with fennel?"

:rotfl2: I'm telling you it made perfect sense, we had fennel chicken last night - and we talked about how strong the licorce flavor was.. :rotfl2:

Sandy, click on favorited, add to favorites. No muss no fuss. Drag up high enought so it's at the top.

Lexi, Yes, the AF DOES make you pay for your own uniforms. I was shocked too.

Yikes, scary about all the tornadoes for my friends. Very sad about people dying. We get some down here sometmes too.

Sending getting well wishes to all our sick friends, and melting thoughts to our snowed in ones. :grouphug:

Sandy just look under User Cp at the top and it will list all you subscriptions.

That is how I find it now too. That is why I don't turn the page anymore....:lmao:

UMA-- Yes Norah looks like the twins.

Did you watch Wife Swap? Why on earth did she tell that guy to work on a holiday spot for his wife....finish the kitchen....

1. support and abuse frequently
2. n/a but do support for the tall and wobbly
3. only within the birthday month.
4. DVC members should be taxed to provide vouchers for poor DVC wannabees

I reject your reality and insert my my own instead.

:lmao:

Hi Nabbie,

I Tivo'd wife swap. I watched AI and now Moment of truth, where they ask all those embarrassing questions for money. House Hunters at 10. I will save wife swap for when there is nothing on (which is not hard to do)

My first meal of the day today was about 8:30 (due to work schedule), part of a quiche (small frozen one, Sandy) and a slice of Texs toast. Apparently not quite enough, I wrote myself reminders for tomorros morning of possible options for breakfast:

1) Western Omelette from POP Food Court
2) Hashbrowns from Macdonalds
3) Hashbrowns AND EggMcMuffin
4) Ham egg and cheese croissant from hotel

how much you want to bet I dont get any of those :rotfl2:

Moohooty Marita 5,400 post !!
Who would have thought....:rotfl:

I am watching the Moment of Truth too. I miss the end of Wife Swap. Our power went out for a bit....

Thanks, Nabbie, I didn't even notice!!!

Who would have thunk I would ever surpass you or Moo? I still don't understand it, it must have been a fluke by the Dis people!

The Dis seems ok to me, i think. Except for saving responses. So maybe not,

Maybe I should dig into the spinach dip for a snack, but I am not feeling it....

When I left the house this morning, freezing rain was coming down. I made it a couple miles down the road before I decided "this is cwazy!" so I turned around and went home. I worked from home all day even though I'm not sure they'll let me count it as work time. Maybe I'll be able to claim the part when I was on a conference call and took notes using my laptop :confused3

We got several inches of snow today, so I'm pretty glad I stayed home. The news said 8" but I think it was more like 4-5" here. I was working on another rush work project and just finished up.

Sorry to hear about all the scary weather. Glad all my cyber friends are safe!

Exactly!

We booked our airfare yesterday. So we are NOT driving to WDW in December.

I am not coughing every 30 seconds, and we can keep a tissue box to last a whole day, but I am so tired. It's a physical tired I can't explain. DH has been around, working out of the home, but if I need him to do anything he will.

I sweated through 3 outfits the other night, he had to wash the bedding and he made it all up and I decided he does a much better job than I, so it's now his official new job.;)
Woo Hoo on booking your flights!!! So glad you're feeling better. You must have had a terrible fever to go through three changes of clothes

Yes, but only to throw the poor guy a bone. I really do like him but think we do better with a Democrat this time. Which is funny since I'm supposedly a Republican. I think he also won Michigan (thanks MOO!) and Colorado.
No thanks to me or my hubby, Wendy (even though he is an "R" person). He wanted Fred to win.

DH is not happy about the turnout last night. He and I are members of the tinky-tiny (TM Natasha) group of Republicans here in the Bay State. Talk about a minority!

Sorry about the scary weather and illness plaguing some of you. We're on our third day of torrential rains, but otherwise things are fine here. Today is the 30th anniversary of the Blizzard of '78, which dumped up to 54 INCHES of snow on this area in 2 days. There were 15-20 FOOT snowdrifts when all was said and done. :scared: We had a week off from school and most of the state was shut down too. Yikes!
Bay State, huh? I had to do some work-related research on the Housatonic today

DH recently scanned some slides of the snowstorm of '78. I vividly recall having to help dig out his car and people shoveling snow off their roofs.

1978 Blizzard, Muncie IN, college... girls dorm. I was lucky I lived in the dorm with the food cafeteria, the girls in the dorm across the parking lot had to walk in groups of 4 or more - you sit at the window and watch them try to come across one or two together, WHAM that wind would knock them down - they would hold elbows and cross - and they closed school - they never close Colleges classes in middle of IN!! 1978 they sure did!!
I slogged through the start of the snowstorm to hubby's apartment about a block from mine. Little did I realize how bad that storm was going to be! I was "stuck" over there for a few days with him. Had to call my roommates so they wouldn't worry about me. Our college was closed for a few days too. I remember walking over to a convenience store where pretty much everything was sold out once the snow let up.

Shouldn't you be off chasing ambulances somewhere? Are you billing some poor slob for your DIS time? For shame, WT.
Hahahahaha! I have been wondering that too, Lynette!

oh, some "hoodies"..trying to get my crocs....:rolleyes1 , noticed..i didn't give up easy?

...ok? wt?...here's one pic..of the msu's band..sorta....explained...
LOVED YOUR PICS, LIL G!!!!!!!! Where was your photo with the "hoodies" taken? Goog thing they didn't steal your Crocs. I have some just like yours and I wear them with socks too! :rotfl:

You should put that pic in your signature!

IHere's my post:
People tell me my dd looks like Michelle on Full House...I dunno, what do you think?
Toadily!!!

Hi Peeps!

Goog to see you Moo! Did DTD ever check in? Also where are BBN, PJ and MommyP?:grouphug:

Lil-G- Nice pictures:thumbsup2 and thanks for the nice words

Sandy- I toadily agree on the meal plan. Fine charge me more but put the tip back in.... it was so nice NOT to have to think about it.

Mony- I want details on the airfare! PM me if needed. Pretty please! I have been shopping for my hypothetical Dec trip.....

Today was nice- it is amazing what you can get down when you don't leave the house even to get the mail. All our evening activities were also cancelled so it is like a little vacation.

yes - but Marita, my darn laptop ate all my "favorites" - and I'm telling you people should read some of the thread titles on the front page of the CB!! :rotfl2: and I forgot I do have a subscription to the thread!!

Marita drive thru MickeyD's

WHERE's PJ?

I heard where the town my paternal grandparents lived, and my niece does live got hit with severe tornadoes - ASHFLAT Arkansas!! It used to have 16 people in it!! no word on niece yet - I'm sure Debbie and her mom know - I figure no news is good news - I called and no one returned my call - so there you go! If they need me, they have my number!! otherwise, they have my prayers!!

Moo wait, you worked at home and didnt DIS?!! OK then, they totally OWE You for working at home!!

Dh thinks his h omemade bread was yuck (It wasnt, nice crust, great texture inside - flavor just right, tad salt, no sugar!! it was a crunchy loaf!) my quiche however yuck - it would've been better as an onion torte, but when I had to make it into a quiche - not so much.. dh LOL and said the quiche was fantastic, but his bread was yuck!! :rotfl2:

OK, time for bed - it looks like the town may open up tomorrow!! Did I post that if you had a landline the police called every one of the (36,000 residents) phones automatic message saying STAY HOME - dont go out too dangerous... we dont have a landline!! I discovered this as I called some moms to help plan the Valentine's Day Party!! Then our town was on the 5:00 news, the mall closed, cars in ditches - and roads to Wisconsin were pretty much closed!!

all will be well when the sun comes up in the mornin!!

Sandy, too funny about your and your DH's opinions of each others recipes!

And yes, I toadily planned on a MD's drive though anyway. Just all depends on when I wake up, and I have to get gas in the morning. I TRY to make it to work by 10:30  So if I have to sacrifice breakfast for that, it's my own fault..........

Or if I get there by 10:30, I could walk to the hotel place and get the croissant sandwich instead of lunch, just shifting the hours a bit and skip lunch break........ IF I am hungry then...

OK, I sound obsessed now, what do you want to bet I wont care in the morning?

So glad that I don't live further north and east of Nashvegas. Those areas are without power for about the next 3 days!

Didn't sleep well last night even with the storms. Normally, I can sleep like baby through ANYTHING. but several times here lately, I have HORRIBLE dreams. And I want you all to know...it was 70 for the past two days...but now...it's like 38. I HATE WINTER!!!

I have no real clue who I want to vote for. I agree that Bill Clinton did clean up Bush's job last time we had a Bush in the office. The only thing about Hilary is that it worries me that she'll bring our troops home and pull out of Iran before some kind of safety measure is arranged. I mean, I'm all about bringing our folks home...but the last time we pulled out, it was all the time that some stupid commie was able to regain control again. I can't wait until there really is some world peace in this world.

Guess I'll always be a dreamer. Who knows. For now...I just wanna be ME.

HAHAHA...I am learning that I like ME a whole lot better these days.

BTW...I really thought Wendy was a Wendy Sue...Oh well...that's what I get for thinking. I have to get my clothes into the dryer before I can go to bed.

I need to find a time when I can go to No Man's Land and get my bicycle. I'm gearing up for Spring. Think if I keep wishing it enough, it'll get here any faster????

Anyway, Night Night all. I do miss the Tivo... :sad2:

Twink! Glad you had some free time tonight!!! :dance3:

I hear you on our missing friends. Hope all is well :grouphug:

I read a couple pages over on the Mad Chatters thread to see if Bonnie had posted and sure enough, she had. Sounds like they're having a great time and even got into an American Idol shout out commercial  Plus, they're really living it up at AKL Concierge :snooty: Hee hee!

Moo wait, you worked at home and didnt DIS?!! OK then, they totally OWE You for working at home!!
Guilty! :guilty: Time passes so fast when you are trying to find stuff on the Internet. That was kind of fun, but then I had to read and summarize or highlight parts which was not so fun, but I did get it done and e-mailed it to myself at work. I'll see what a couple of my coworkers think about it tomorrow and edit accordingly before sending it on to our Director. My office is not too keen about people working from home :sad1:

That's kind of cool that they have that emergency call system. But also a bit "Big Brother-y"! I have heard that they ticket people up north if they're out on the roads sometimes when weather advisories have been made :confused3

I have a work associate who lives in Gurnee. He is supposed to drive to Michigan tomorrow for a public meeting tomorrow night. I hear they really got slammed with snow. Hope he can make it.

GOOG MORNING DRIVE BY!

57 when I woke up yesterdee.....33 today. At least there are no thunderstorms when it's freezing cold outside.

EVERYBODY HAVE A GOOD DAY!
