good golly miss molly........snowing now to beat the band and then another storm coming in for tonight into tomorrow.....why oh why.......just cause I said I hate winter .....I said that back in December.......I hate it I do I do....

Oh well.....took a shower and in a few will make peanut butter cookies for the rug rats that are coming here today after school......oh wait..maybe I can make corn muffins......I love those too...hahaha ...easier too then those cookies....but one rug rat will be tomorrow after school too....or if they cancel school I will have two rug rats......I can wait.....

took out some chicken breasts out of the deep freeze....and will stuff those suckers for supper......that with taters and veggies and I will be good to go....

Monica- I think it was just bronchitis. I did have fevers too though, but not as bad as you. I know about coughing till you pass out. I felt like I was run over by a HumVee every morning. Good core exercise??? Suzy Sunshine checking in!

Sandy- I can't eat more than a bite or so of dough nuts. But boy oh boy, I love them! I "get" fat-tuesday now. Followed by starving to death Wednesday and BACK OFF Thursday etc.


LJ- I got dressed and put makeup on just so I won't slip into Snow Day Blues (a disease I just made up) BUT pajamas sound comfy-er! (which is my requisite spelling error, I'd like to point out)

Have you ever made Chicken Pot Pie from scratch? I have a great recipe with the most tender flakey crust ever. Mmmmmm.

Since you have survived as a tinky-tiny Republican, I think you should go ahead and get a bumpah stickah. Speaking of tinky-tiny- I measured myself at the eye doctor yesterday. I have SHRUNK half an inch. Darn, I mean, darling children sucked all the calcium out of my bones.

We about blew away this morning. We heard a big ol' "THUMP" outside about 2:30 this morning, so KAMommy 'persuaded' me to go out and check it out. Whatever it was, was gone (blew away) by the time I got my sleepy-eyed self outside with the flashlight (things are hard to find with your eyes closed). I didn't get back to sleep so I read in the living room (Robert Harris "Imperium" - excellent author). I'm tired now.

The drive in to work was interesting. 50-60mph winds w/ sheets of rain, but there weren't any major idiot drivers out there. Except me. Just slow going. Trees down all over the place. No major power outages anywhere in our area though. At 8:30 this morning it was still dark. It's settling down now - the wind has died down enough that umbrellas are useful, at least.

Cel, I can't speak to his stance on gay rights, but I do know that he is for open borders, limits to free speech, higher taxes and "bigger" government. In my book, that's a Dem...I don't care what he calls himself. Plus, on a more personal note, he looks eerily like the Crypt Keeper. Downright frightening!

Although I admire him as a veteran and a war hero, I just can't get behind his politics.

The only natural disasters Utah has is the occasional mild earthquake and they're just feet massages, really. We did have one tornado once. It was nothing like what you people get. No flying cows or semi trucks. Tornados and hurricanes scare the beetlejuice out of me.
