Hi, Bonnie. Wow, I'd be excited too - your trip is right around the corner!!!

Yes, I'd say that 27 Dresses is a great chick flick. I think it was a good role for James Marsden after playing Prince Edward in Enchanted.

Moo -- the Santa comment went over her head or at least she didn't say anything. Do you know the other part I was talking about that I didn't much like her to hear....a male body part. The rest I can deal with .

Bonnie-- can't comment either never been to a Pirate/Princess party.

Wait, isn't lash tinting, temporary, just like eyebrow tinting? I get my brows tinted and it fades just like my hair color.

So Bonnie maybe you are right. I would be afraid that something would go wrong and affect my eyes. I don't even wear contacts because no one touches my eye...:lmao:

Speaking of which how are the new glasses are you used to them yet?

If I were a Peep, I would be a VERY BAD PEEP tonight.

I had a slice of Dutch Apple pie, heated up.

And now going to eat a bowl of Chocolate Hagen-Dazz (sp) ice cream WITH whipped cream! So sad, no hot fudge around though :(

Hello, everybody....Thanks again to all for the sweet words of sympathy.

I'm at my mom's. We spent all afternoon at the funeral home for the visitation. Lots of people I hadn't seen since I was a teenager. Funny how I look exactly the same and they all looked so much older? :confused3

Actually it was nice to be able to visit with all those folks and long lost family we haven't seen in ages. AND there were FIVE pecan pies there along with a coconut cake, oatmeal & chocolate chip cookies, KFC, sausage/biscuits, a cold cut tray, etc. etc. (I brought one lonely looking pecan pie home to mom's.)

My uncle put together a power point of pictures/videos that went from Granddaddy's great-grandparents to today. Frankly I could've done without the 70's/polyester/bad hair pictures but I guess it's all part of the history. And some good memories there.

I had plans to see 27 Dresses with the neighborhood girls today but maybe next week.

I'm glad Monica and Bonnie checked in! :wave2:

Bonnie....I was beginning to worry that you had *exploded*! :lmao:

Marita....Why don't you branch out and order a pizza!

Twink, NAB, Moo, Wendee, Sandy, Allie, PJ, BNCG, Lynette and everybody.....:wave2:

I would think that lash tinting is temporary, but I would be afraid of getting the dye in my eyes. At least it probably takes quite a while to lose your eyelashes or for them to fade :confused3

I have had my brows lightened a couple times. They told me I could do it myself, but I'd hate for them to end up too light or different shades. Philadisney said on her What Not to Wear thread that they lightened her brows as part of her makeover, but she couldn't tell much difference.

I like my new glasses, but nope, not used to them! They are there to retrain the muscles in my eyes, so they are not comfortable to see out of. My vision is 20/20, but the muscles that are supposed to turn my eyes inward don't work well! I can't see most 3-D movies, because I see the move as flat double images. At DMV when I do the vision test, I can't see all the letters at once, i have to close one eye to read half of it and then close the other eye to read the rest! :rotfl:

Mmmmmm!! Apple pie sounds soooo goood! And chocolate ice cream. And whipped cream! I have not had sweets in over a month, but I still crave them!

:rotfl: Thanks for your concern! :rotfl:

I did grab a box of Fiber One, but it looked like dark, crunchy chinese noodles, and I don't like those! :confused3 :rotfl:

It must be interesting to hook up with old friends. I'm glad you are at least able to visit with friends and family, even under these circumstances.

Those desserts sound GOOD! Were you able to resist them?

Yes, that's what I say! My mom dared to say to me,that she couldn't even TELL me how the mechanic at my brother's business said I looked (35 years later). He has nothing to talk about, gray hair, big beer belly and all :rolleyes1

Marita....Why don't you branch out and order a pizza!

I branched out and had TGIF's potato skins with sour cream, followed by a slice of dutch apple pie (heated) and a big bowl of chocolate Hagen-daez with tons of whipped cream. And I very rarely eat sweets (not because of a diet, just because i dont want to) So this was sort of a special sunday dinner, LOL.

Lexi, hugs to you for tomorrow , it will be a sad day despite it all

I loved him in Enchanted. I really want to see how he does in another role. He is adorable.

I get my brows colored darker because they are too blonde and I look like Mona Lisa all the time!

You'll like him even more in 27 Dresses!!!

I have the opposite problem with my eyebrows, they are a couple shades darker than my hair (especially as it continues to get more gray in it) :rolleyes1 I don't like the smell of the hair color I have had done before. It takes several washings to get rid of the smell. I have had my hair colored darker and didn't really like it.

Anyway, the gal who does my hair in visiting her family in Russia. She must be having visa problems or just decided to stay longer because the salon called to ask me to reschedule my appointment with someone else because she won't be back for a few weeks. I hate going to a new person for a haircut :scared: So I probably won't be doing anything for a while . . .

Does anyone have a dartgun to calm down a dog for a few hours?????????? He has been a pain in the astarstat all day long!

Glad you're here!

Moo Hoooty to Allie!

Thanks everybody! Isn't it funny how the smallest of things (like the number of posts) make us so happy? :upsidedow

You guys are the bestest! :thumbsup2 Thanks for celebratin' with me! :cheer2:

Marita WDW called!! JUST Now!! I sent an email months ago about the carpy Tony's service - and since I hadnt heard anything... well, its such a simple thing really, but it sure makes you think Disney cares!!! Oh, and the reason I'm telling you this... :rotfl2:

"Hello sandy?"

"yes"

"Hello, Sandy, this Is Maria from WDW"

"Marita? From Meeps?"

"um, no, I'm Maria from Disneyworld calling about your email"
:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That is too funny! I can so see myself doing something like that. That's why I like you so much Sandy! We are a lot alike in more ways than one. :rolleyes1

Ali sorry 'bout stealing the 1600 WOOHOOTY Post!

You didn't "steal" it, I put it there, and I think it was a great place to put #1600. :thumbsup2 I'll come back here for #1700. ;)

Actually, no, I did NOT tell him to take the gas, LOL. Take it like a man, boy! Or in his words, he does not have 2 nickles to rub togeher as he is working part time now, waiting for his new life to unfold, and no wanting to to tell employers he is going to be there for a while. I do respect that really. But he is pretty broke, LOL, and gas is $23 a shot, notcovered by insurance, and he doesnt even have insurance to start with for the fillings.
But he has nice looking teeth frm the outside :)

All I can say is CHA-CHING! I had to pay for my son's two root canals when his front teeth got injured during the Church Flag (non contact) Football game. Luckily it happened in December, so one root canal went on one calendar year and the other one (done in Jan.) went in the other calendar year. By the first week in that year, he had used up his yearly allowance. :confused3

MMMM, potato skins, ice cream, whipped cream, apple pie.....I am soooo drooling over here.

Sandy still needs to tell us what Disney had to say about their carpy meal at Tony's!!!

I'm baaa-aacckk. I had to hunt for the thread, but I found it. I went to New Orleans for a few days and will have a full report soonish.
At 10 is the "EVERYTHING IS NEW AGAIN" Traiding spaces.
Paige Davis is back!!!!! Apparently they recognized the error of their ways, and the ratings tanked badly. I am tivoing it just in case I get distracted LOL.

Lexi and PJ, prayers and Pixie Dust for your families :grouphug:

MommyP, the baby is LUCIOUS!
Paige Davis is from Loo uh vil where she graduated from the Brown Performing Arts High School. She left Trading Places to act. Didn't work out too well, I guess. My mom loved her and watched every day.

MONICA!!!You swooped post 100. I was toadily gonna do it (and then a victory dance and some trash talkin' aimed at DTD:thumbsup2 where are you DTD??) but my boys took an unexpected synchronized nap and I actually did Donna Reed like things.

Hi everyone. Thinking of you LexMelinda today. :grouphug:
I'm right here. Feel free to dance for me anyway.
MOO HOOTY MONICA

Lexi, sorry about your granddad. He didn't get cheated, though, did he. 98, quite a span. Prayers for your family.
Sitting here watching the SAG awards. Guess I'd better go play trivia. It's been a few days. Then to bed. I've had about 4 hours the last 2 nights.
Night, Moops.

Hi and bye, DTD, glad you found us!!!!!!

Does anyone have a good recipe for dog stew? DTD?

I bet he would feed the 100 people at Lexis church, maybe even for 2 weeks!

Now he's OUT again. watch, 2 minutes, barking will ensue to be let IN again! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note to self .... Don't eat stew at Marita's house. :rotfl2:

Marita my sister is still complaining that it is cold there. She is staying at CBR and says they have to take the bus to go get drinks. They did this and for some reason the bus driver didn't stop there and they went to Epcot. :lmao: It is funny to me but I am sure not to them.

Hey, they have drinks at Epcot, of all kinds even! :rotfl2:

I worked in the Pop/CBR region for 15 months. If they are staying across the lake from the Food court, there is a bridge. If not, yes, it might be a hike. It's been a bit chilly here, but really not bad, high 60's, not even I froze too badly on Friday :confused3

I think it's supposed to go back t0 70's on Tuesday.

I think they should be happy too because it is 18 here. I would take 60 -70 anyday.

I have been watching a Hallmark movie tonight it isn't to bad. I do miss my Sunday night shows though.
