This weather is crazy. At least it isn't icy like I thought it was going to be. I will have to be like Mony and put rocks in the kids backpacks to hold them down.

Lexi -- I didn't get much sleep last night because of the wind either. And it scared Hannah so she was up too.

Hubby is home today so I will get nothing done today.

Monica....Rocks in Matt's backpack! We couldn't get the car doors open today. Frozen shut! Only the driver's door would open. I had to get out of the car at school and let DS climb over. BTW...He took some funeral flowers to his teacher today. I told him not to tell her they were funeral flowers and he was like "why not"?

I will see your Mr. Depp and raise you a Mr. Mellencamp AND a Mr. Letterman AND a Mr. James Dean and a Mr. Quayle. uhhhhh. can i retract the last one?

That's the only one that might get you ahead of Mr. Depp and he's been dead 50 years. Just sayin.....

I woke up at midnight and the gate across the driveway was open and banging against the trash bin. I sent DH out to remedy the situation. And then I laid there..... Sorry Hannah was up too. I hate scary wind. There was some thunder here too. Freaky!

morning .......its raining ....its pouring .....the ol' man is snoring.......oh no ..he went to work........the worse thing about this .....we have so much ice under these puddles.....wicked bad ice......

Celery.....you made me laugh.....always a good thing to do on a dreary morning.....just finishing my coffee and then maybe I will swing to the oldies.....I mean exercise in the middle of the living room.....will try to do this every day and maybe ..my bs will be good......and maybe I will lose the weight I am supposed to ....oh well ..if I dont ....not going to bother me......

didnt sleep good last night either.......snow and ice was falling off the roof and made a horrible noise when it came down and hit the side of the house......hubby and I and Megara were talking at three am......

We did have some crazy wind last night. Lots of downed trees and power lines etc

WIND!! ayiayiaayaaayiii!!! (that's a technical word, but scrabble wouldnt accept it!! ) 22 above probably feels like 22 BELOW - that was our wind chill, it really was only - 3 BELOW zero - didnt feel too bad until the blasted wind kicked in - watching the wind blow the snow was amazing - like watching all these tornadoes - swirling snow -

Marita I'm thinking of applying for snowbird status - its just June, July, August, Sept, parts of August... and then, no pretty Fall leaves... oh, and no first snowfall of winters... hmmm I probably would be denied!!

Pumba I know what you mean, I bought a cd (or so I thought - it was in a music store in with the music cd's)

and I wanted to upload the music to my ipod library - it wouldnt work, so I took it to my cd player to play to see if it was protected nope - 2 days later I found out (asked dd!! LOL)

It actually was a music DVD!!!!

Wasnt there a reality show with Meatloaf? It really spoiled his bad boy image!!

The wind all y'all are talking about was here yesterday and the day before. I was afraid it was going to rip off my car doors, or that a witch might come flying by my windows. Also it snowed yesterday- sideways even.

Me. duh. And I will agree that it is a smidge, a bit, a tad, a dab, a dollop more disturbing than it usually is.

Re Nip/Tuck: I kind of watched it. I had to leave. And close my eyes alot when I came back. The previews for next week look like they are upping the disturbance factor.

Yesterday was Kansas day and I have solved the mystery of the sugar cookies.... they were in the SHAPE of Kansas. They also wore "prairie" clothes and made butter (that is buttah, L).

guess what.........I am sooooo........sore.......I tried some of the same steps I did yesterday and OMGGODNESS......my body is not what she used to be.....My arms are sore my thighs are sore....my feet are sore....my whole body is OLD.... .......listening to OFF KILTER again.......

just made the meatloaf ....probably two and a half pounds of a mixture of critter and beef......well beef would be a critter too and they are fed STUFF....not pure foods like the critter ate.....

Hello everyone! I am having a great work day....Crazybossman paid for a long lunch today (and didn't even come with us! Yay!) This was to make up for the fact that we had no heat in the office when we arrived this morning. It's since been fixed, but DANG was it cold in here this morning!!!!!


Twink, I spent a goog portion of Nip/Tuck hiding behind my hands. Yikes! They came thisclose to making me physically ill last night.

Cel, any hope of getting DVR soon? I couldn't live without it now that I've had it.

Are you in a suburban area, or more rural? My town is a great mix....nice small town feel, with plenty of undeveloped area and farms, but close enough to the city too. (1/2 hour drive)
