Moonlight Magic - Strategy, October 24, AK

Hi.

We will be at tonight’s MM in AK and can get in at 4 pm. We are two AP holders and one adult does not have a park ticket for today so we are not arriving earlier.

We were going to arrive for about 4 and go to Nomads for some apps and drinks.

Our only must dos are Flight of Passage and Safari.
We are three adults.

Im guessing Flight will be long lines up until actual park closing before MM. Is this correct?

you should do the safari as soon as you get there because it closes when the park closes and i dont believe it runs during the event.

What about FoP. Im not sure wbout when or if that will not have long lines during the event.

Correct, Safari closes at regulars time and is not extended for Moonlight Magic.

Would you mind sharing your experience? We are doing the next one and I would especially like to know:
1) when Safari closed (sometimes it closes before there)
2) how long you had to wait for Nomad
3) if Boneyard was open
4) what was your favorite part of the event generally?

Hi.
It was our first MM and we thought it was great (3 adults).
We arrived at a little before 6 pm, which was closing for AK. We got our bands after we tapped into the park.
Safari closed at 6 pm.
Nomad closed at 6 pm.

We walked onto FoP, my sister did Everest twice as walk on and we did Navi, Tough to be a Bug and could have walked onto
FoP again but we just were hanging.

We got three snack credits. We had popcorn, water and then the chicken dumplings (which are my fav in AK).
We could have been more creative perhaps with snacks, but that is what we wanted.

I would def do another MM. Everything was walkon.

Thank you that sounds amazing. I suspect the November one will be more crowded, but even waiting 10 to 15 minutes per attraction would be awesome.
