Does the owner have to attend MM?

Scenario: we have 7 attending (2 owners and 5 guests) but were only able to get 5 tickets. We attended 2 years ago and others have not (2 of them have never been to Galaxy's Edge). We'd rather just check in the 5 and let them all enjoy MM but don't want to plan on that if it doesn't work.

Whoever got the tickets must attend with their guests - you will be required to show your license and DVC member Y ID at checkin.

Since the OP mentions Galaxy's Edge, I would have to assume the upcoming DHS MM on 9/1.

I thought that but then it implied some people would be somewhere else. Re-reading it does look like the MM people will be at DHS.

Do you have on-property lodging (and booked to qualify for early registration)? If so, you should have been able to register all 7 guests.

Given 5 guests are registered, the registered owner (one of the 2) has to checkin with their four guests.

Yep. Had a glitch and we only got 5.
