Shouldn't matter. We were there in March and did a split stay on points ay POLY, and 5 nights at ASMO. We were at ASMO for the event and I booked it online with no problem. Somehow, the system saw my reservation at movies. We have a split stay planned that falls on one of the Hollywood event nights. We check out of our direct purchased resort the morning of the event and into our resale purchased resort the afternoon of the event. Anyone know if we will be allowed to reserve for the event when it opens to people with reservations? Not sure of the rules around “blue card” reservations and non blue card reservations.
Quoted for emphasis. We are probably going to make good use of the 5-person occupancy of the DVC villas we reserved. It's usually 4 total or up to the number of people on your reservation.
I went this past September.Anyone ever attend the one a typhoon lagoon? It falls on my date.
Follow-on question. Is that per member or per membership? One per park per year.
How hard is it to get tickets if you are staying on property? I had some points available so I booked a stay at BLT during one of the HS MMs in September. Do I need to be on the website right away on the day it opens? Just wondering if I need to take off work to be sure I get them.
Follow-on question. Is that per member or per membership?
I suspect it is per membership because I know the member + 3 guests is actually per membership. I know two members on the same membership can't each bring 3 guests for a total of 8 attendees. The membership is limted to 4 attendees (or number of people in a single reservation).
My DD and I have separate trips planned next fall. Each trip contains one of the DHS dates. We are both on the same contract. I suspect we can't both get MM tickets. If you could all husband and wife joint ownerships could get one reservation in the husbands name and one in the wifes name. That seems like a too easy way around the restriction.
Thanks. That is what I expected, and I believe it is consistent with the intent of the restriction. I just want to make sure we were managing expectations before the July booking date.Per membership.
If you have 3 people on the deed, it's still one per park for the membership even if the 3 people go separately, all for MK dates.
Thanks
Live local in 2020 so going to try!
I just joined DVC in July, I didn't get an email. How can my family attend? One of them falls within my dates of a trip I have already booked.
I just emailed member services asking why I did not get the email with the announced dates.
We loved the Epcot MM last year, and, fortunately, wound up with an Epcot MM scheduled for May visit this yearI just looked over the dates again and realized that I will actually hit 2 in 2020 (I overlooked Epcot because its probably the one I am interested in least.)
Anyway I currently have 2 trips booked for 2020, my typical mid-september F&W, MNSSHP trip (one week) and a 4 day weekend the beginning of May for Dapper Day (that's where I hit the Epcot one). 11 days booked so far and hit 2. I will also book my typical trip for early december (non on those dates). This is my typical yearly schedule. I hit one or 2 every year. I wonder if its mere luck, or if its that I travel in targeted (slow) times, and that is when Disney does them. I have gotten very luck with the schedules.
We loved the Epcot MM last year, and, fortunately, wound up with an Epcot MM scheduled for May visit this yearWe're also going to be there for a DHS one in Oct, but it's the Epcot one we are REALLY looking forward to (we did an AK DVC event a few years ago & loved that one also; MK is the only one we wouldn't bother with).
