Moonlight Magic Question

I have a Disney resort stay planned and my checkout date is on the same day as a Moonlight Magic event that I want to attend. Will I still be able to register when it opens up? TIA!

From what i have read from others you should be able to go even if it is on your check out day. I think someone had posed a similar question and had called member services. Although today is sign ups for AK event dates and people are running into problems even with reservations covering the dates of the event.
