We did our first Moonlight Magic event on February 25th. We were so excited and actually flew down from RI to attend. We were a party of 4, myself, my husband and our 16 year old son and 15 year old nephew. We arrived at Animal Kingdom Park at 5:35. We took a few picture outside and then went to see if we could check in. They allowed us to check in at 5:45pm. We received our meal vouchers and our dinoland game tickets. The official party did not start until 9, so we decided to roam around a little. We headed over to It's Tough to Be a Bug, which was a walk on. We then decided to walk over to Expedition Everest. We rode Expedition Everest and waited about 30 minutes to do so. Most of the animal attraction closed at 5, so we were unable to see them. It was close to 7 when we finished, so we decided to use our meal voucher , which has a start time of 7pm. We went to Satuli Canteen. There was a long line and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the cast member to order. We were able to find seating without a problem and the food was great as usual. We then headed over to the Safari, they let the party goers use the fast pass line. We waited about 15 minutes. There were not to many animals out and we had the worst guide we have ever had. We then rode Navi River and waited about 10 minutes. The boys wanted to ride expedition Everest, so we headed back there and they rode it 7 times in a row all within 75 minutes. We then walked over to Dinosaur and there was no wait. We used our game tickets at the basketball game and as long as you got 1 basket in you received a stuffed animal prize. We took some pictures as we headed to get our free ice cream. They were the mickey ice cream bars and you had to ask for the strawberry one if you wanted something non dairy. We then went back to Pandora and rode Flight of Passage 3 times in a row. We were actually the last group to ride it for the night and got to sit in in alone, which was really cool. On the way out we took some more pictures. We left the park around 12:30/12:40. The cast members were great during this event. We did not stop to meet any characters, but there were many out. We are so glad we did this event and highly recommend it. We can't wait to go again if they do it next year.
