Help! I accidentally deleted the email with the Moonlight Magic event details for 8/2/2023. Would someone please let me know the details that were included in the email? Thanks!

Don’t forget your Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card. Both your valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in. Your Digital Membership Card should be added to the digital wallet of your mobile device before arrival, as using the temporary card will not expedite the check-in process. Visit www.disneyvacationclub.com/card if you need help. It’s important to note that the Member who was selected during the event registration process must be in attendance to check in their full party, and the entire party must check in together. The event is unable to accommodate parties that did not register in advance.

You can check in a bit early. While the event begins at 8 p.m., you may check in as early as 6 p.m. and as late as 10 p.m. at the Main Entrance of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park (look for event signage.) Entry prior to the 6 p.m. mix-in time requires a separate paid theme park admission and park reservation. Those who plan to enjoy the parks before the after-hours party begins may find the in-park check-in location at Upper Bradley Falls from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Park freely! Complimentary parking begins at 6 p.m.

Save room for tasty treats. Upon arrival, each person in your party will receive three complimentary snack vouchers, which you may redeem across the park at participating food & beverage locations (look for the Disney Dining Plan Icon

), including (but not limited to) Dino-Bite Snacks, Satu’li Canteen and Thirsty River Bar. You may even satisfy your late night, sweet tooth cravings with complimentary ice cream novelties at select snack locations.

Celebrate the magic of nature (real and imagined). From riding on the back of a banshee and speeding through the Himalayas to embarking on a prehistoric rescue mission and ripping through river rapids, there’s something for everyone… with the added magic of shorter-than-usual wait times. Also, be on the lookout for special entertainment, including appearances by some of your favorite Disney Characters!

Getting home. The event will conclude at 11 p.m. Return transportation to all Disney Resort hotels via Walt Disney World Bus service will be operating until 12 a.m.

Went to this last night. It was fun but kind of underwhelming because there are so few rides. Wouldn’t book a trip for this particular event in the future.

Went to this last night. It was fun but kind of underwhelming because there are so few rides. Wouldn’t book a trip for this particular event in the future.

We did the earlier one on 7/11 and I agree. While we love Animal Kingdom, it's absolutely the hottest and most humid of all the parks (too much water, LOL), and it has the fewest number of rides of any of the parks (which is absolutely fine during the day when you can enjoy all of the animal-centric attractions).

We had a great time on 8/2. Bad rain storm beforehand but the ambience of AK at night especially Pandora was breathtaking. Rides were < 15 min wait. Only wish they had safari added before it got dark. Good choices for food.
