Moonlight Magic 2018?

I saw the email talking about Moonlight Magic coming up in Epcot for DVC Members and wondered if anyone knew if such events would be happening again in 2018? I know they were at all of the parks this year and was just hoping they might do the same next year. Also, how early did they announce the dates for 2017?

think the special events are part of DVC - 25th anniversary - so not sure. they have already decided to kept the lounge for DVC at Epcot - so we can hope.

They did announce the March Magic Kingdom event a bit sooner. November, I believe. But the others were right after the start of the year.

I was under the impression that since they started in Oct, 2016 - it would not end until Oct, 2017 (did I miss something) - and they did extend until Dec, 2017.

That period is WDW 45th anniversary.

DVC's 25th anniversary was celebrated throughout 2016. The first after-hours park events were at Magic Kingdom in Feb/March 2016, followed by Typhoon Lagoon in summer, AK in September and Disney California Adventure in November.

In late October 2016 they announced the MK events would return in Feb/Mar 2017. The rest of the schedule was disclosed in January.

The events are obviously quite popular. At this point, I'll be very surprised if they are discontinued entirely. If cost is a factor, they could always scale back. I believe they have/had events scheduled for 11 separate nights throughout 2017.

I have a little bit of flexibility in my dates for next year, so hoping that I could make time to attend one of these! They do look like a lot of fun, and I always enjoy experiences that are relatively unique...

The 2018 dates are out! We were able to book a room for each night of the events....Super excited!
