Oh Last Week I got Lucky! I will not have to buy any Rice Mixes for a few weeks! =)

18 Uncle Ben's Rice Mixes $1.39 Each---Then they were on Sale and I had coupons for them so I got them for $3.58 w/tax!!!!!! That has to be one of my best things yet!!

3 gallons milk (4 half gals & 1 standard gal) ~ 3 half gals were free w/ the purchase of the fruit snacks and cookies
1 large tub of margarine ~ finally remembered to buy this, we've been out for a while now
2 packs hamburger buns

2 boxes fruit snacks ~ snacks for road trip next week
1 package of pecan sandies ~ snack for road trip

the buy 3 get 3 free half gals is a really excellent deal if your family is able to stock up on milk or you have coupons for the fruit snacks.

half gals are $1.25 and the fruit snacks are $1.99 so it works out to paying .74 for the fruit snacks after deducting what you'd have paid for the milk anyway. If you have any coupons..normally $1/2...then it would be .24 for each box of fruit snacks after the deal and coupons.

Ok, thanks OP for this. I am trying to be more accountable, with my budget. For the past 4 weeks. I have been watching, myself. I have to. So, thank you for posting this. I am a person who knows how to cook, a cook for a living for years. But, I love take out. Plus, I am the type who stopped clipping coupons, and when I go in the store. I am ususally listless. Going down every aisle, throwing things in the cart. Coming out of the store 150 dollars later. And still dont have enough for a weeks worth of meals. So a monthly grocery budget has to be on my list of things to do.. Thanks again!

Ok, so I will start today. I know we have spent 34.?? So far in June, but I don't really have the reciept for the items we spent it on. However. I do need more milk, and bread. I have a freezer full of food. But, no snacks, and running low on lunch items. I will report back tomorrow. Because, I think we will go out shopping.

So we went on a little run to walmart last night
WE bought 2 pizzas for supper they were 3.48 each
3 lunchables at 2.19 each
a panini for me at 3.68
a frozen dinner .99
toddler fruit chews 2.48
liquid hand soap 2.48
4 litre milk 4.28
2 chocolate bars 1.70 for both
So 30.60 with tax
total for month 120.09

Well i had to go buy some cheese so i bought armstrong chedder 600g for 8.29
so total for week1 of 4 is 128.38 and that will be it for this week . It is good as we have budgeted 184 a week

Updated my post #2. We went from the weather being in the 40s to the house being 88 degrees today. I don't have air conditioning, and you know that I can't cook its too hot and my stomach is doing flipflops feeling. Well the answer tonight was Subway. The 4 of us shared 2 subs and had fresh fruit and chips that were in the house. Well I feel like a fool for tooting my horn yesterday!!

Quick question for you....on your target run you bought a bunch of paper plates that were about $31.00. Your total was only about $6 after coupons. Was there a coupon for the plates ar was it a Target sale? I need to replenish my paper plate supply (we use them all summer at almost every meal) and you found a great deal!

Yes $2 off any Solo heavy duty plate combine that with the Target $3/15 partyware Q and voila $31.79 - $28Q = $3.79 (plus tax) for 11 pkgs.
We shouldbe stocked for a while. You can find the target coupon on Hot Coupon World check out the Coupon Resources in the tool bar and click on coupon generator. Target will let you use multiples in a transaction as long as all requirements are met. PS. I still have one more lonely coupon left but I cleaned the shelves out. Each pack was $2.89 at my store. I went to the HCW and searched all of Target in the database. The Solo coupon did not come up but I did find the $3/$15 coupon. Should I be looking for the Solo coupon another way? I guess that it was not exclusive to Target? There is so much to learn about this stuff!

I went to Smartsource and can not find it. Any idea where I can locate it? I am now on a mission to get these plates!

It's not a printable. It's from the 5/18 newspaper inserts. Try Ebay to get a bunch of them.
