The aquarium is a must do
Depending on your party take a drive down to Peeble Beach and to Carmel by the Sea.It's been 4 years since DH and I went but the Marriott was a great location.A 15 or so minute walk to the restaurants on Cannery Row and there were a few good restaurants closer by.Try to see a sunset in the Ocean if you can

Do you have young kids? Try Bonfonte Gardens. I think they changed their name to Gilroy Gardens

the holiday inn there is actually really nice and you should definitely visit the aquarium there. it's one of the best in the country.
