Monterey Peninsula from the air

On my trip in May I flew out of Monterey with a seat on the peninsula side and a clearish day so I snapped some shots. It is interesting to see really how close everything is in the area. I have added points of interest.

Very interesting! What kind of camera were you using?

Cool. We've flown in from LA a few times, but we've never gone out over the water. I'll be back there in March or April next year.

I was using a Canon 40D. The pictures aren't sharp due to me sitting behind the exhaust on the turbo-prop.

Mark-I usually fly over the water on my way to SF to catch a flight home. You might be able to notice in pic #3 the flowers along the coast below the Pacific Grove text were just finishing being in bloom and were bright pink. I'll try and post a pic of them.
