Do they have a split fee? I remember reading that Blue Bayou charges to split the sandwich but there is NO WAY we could each finish one!!

Since Blue Bayou is going to be closed are any seating areas better than others at Cafe Orleans? Any time better than others? Just trying to make it great since we'll be missing out on BB.

yes CO has a split fee, but if you just ask for a plate and split it yourselves then they will not charge you the fee.

I just got off the phone and made a PS for Cafe Orleans for next week. One of my sons love this sandwhich and is trying to talk someone into sharing it with him. Last year he ordered the sandwhich and my other son ordered fries and they both just shared. As for me, it is full of things I don't like- ham and swiss for starters. I just go for the fries and beignets. Last time I ordered a salad also to help balance all that. I'm sure the greens cancel out anything bad in the other two.

Oh yeah, my DH always calls it Monte Crisco too. He says "Let's watch The Count of Monte Crisco again." Great movie, BTW.

It is a great movie, DBF watches it all the time. lol

When we get a MC DBF gets it and I order a salad and bowl of gumbo, then we share. We also get Pomme Frites to share with the family.
