I just read a post on fb about this. Do you think this will go where Dinoland was? I always thought that door scene in Monsters Inc. would make a great ride. I hope it's true.

My guess is where Star Wars Launch Bay was.
I doubt this. They are re-theming Smugglers Run so I don't think there will be any more changes to Galaxy's Edge. Doubt this would fit with GE anyway.

Maybe at the end of Pixar Place? It would fit there.

If not in Pixar Place then maybe over where the original start of the original tram ride was? That area is pretty much empty right now.

Launch Bay is not the same as Galaxy’s Edge. Launch Bay is the area at the back of the former Animation Courtyard by Little Mermaid and the dance party and seems a likely location. There’s a ton of space back there and they aren’t using much of it.

DHS not AK. AK is getting Encanto and Indiana Jones in Dinoland. ⬇️

Where would this be in Hollywood Studios?

The place that makes the most sense is Animation Courtyard. Practically a dead area, completely incohesive, has the space for a singular ride and "city" sets. They could widen the area with demo of Little Mermaid and Walt's museum. It connects it to the other Pixar areas. Construction of it would not impact parks at all at this point.

Other option is Muppets and Grand area would be lost. That would be sad. I've heard some folks want to fight for Muppets to get National landmark status. Since they have that area fairly functional and just built the nice walk up quick serve I'm doubting that.

Here is the ride model

Could it be where the Streets of America and the stunt car show used to be?
That is Galaxy Edge now.

Little Mermaid is supposed to reopen soon with a revised show that they’ve been promoting heavily. https://disneyparksblog.com/wdw/ins...aid-show-coming-to-disneys-hollywood-studios/

So hopefully they won’t demo that building! I agree that otherwise there’s space in and around the Animation Courtyard.
I know they keep saying it but my motto with Disney is "until it is built, it is staffed, it is open and actually operating ... it's just talk". It's been what 10+ months since it came out from Disney? And it is supposed to be open in fall so we'll know soon enough.

My comment was just they "could widen" and expand this to a legit Pixar section of the park, connecting it with the rest. But since Monster's Inc per their description is barely a land (one ride and a city set with characters) they could easily fit it in Animation Courtyard using Launch Bay's mostly empty property and Playhouse Disney theater.

What would be nice is make the courtyard side of Little Mermaid part of Monster's cityscape since entrance to show is actually on Mickey Ave. Then you exit show in to Metropolis. That area just makes the most sense, especially since it won't need state watershed approval to disrupt new land.

Animal Kingdom's Dino land is going to be replaced by an Indiana Jones attraction and an Encanto
Haven't we seen enough of Indy? I'm also not thrilled about about a ride through the encanto casita. I guess my zootopia dreams won't come true. :(

Zootopia show to replace Bug's Life. I'm wondering if some of the Zootopia animals will make it on the carousel. A woodcarver who will create a giant working carousel featuring his favorite animals from Disney stories.

I think Zootopia would have been fun but a very big project to pull off well.

RE mermaid show: they did reveal sketches of costumes for it during a costuming panel (along with some treasure cm costumes)

That's reassuring! I'm hoping it opens this fall as expected, so we can see it in January!
