What are your thoughts? I was actually watching Monsters, Inc. a few days ago (it was on Starz, I think) and I was wondering what the sequel would be about. Honestly, I don't think the movie lends itself well to a traditional sequel and I guess PIXAR doesn't think so either...for now. The Incredibles, on the other hand, has so many sequel possibilities!

Hm thats interesting! I don't know what the plot would be like either. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of the first one, I own it but never watch it, so I probably wouldn't even see the sequel! I do love John Goodman though

I suppose if there has to be a Monsters, Inc. 2 at all, a prequel is the best way to go. I loved the ending of the first film, with Sulley going back to visit a slightly older "Boo".

Interestingly, we only watch Monsters, Inc. right before a Disney trip. My kids don't ask for it at any other time and it's not a Disney DVD that I usually reach for.

I'd be curious to see the prequel, but I have a feeling that it's something that would go straight-to-video.

I really hope that they don't make a sequel to Monster's Inc. The story is so sweet the way it ended and I would like to keep that image in my mind.

I guess if they made a sequel here are some possible ideas:

1. An older Boo tries to find Sulley because for some strange reason the evil monster Randol is back and wants revenge

2. A focus more on what happens to company when it becomes more laughter focused.

3. Beauty and the Beast theme!!! Boo and Sulley fall in love. bwhaha.
