Chapter 29 - Stunts, Props and Toys

After we had met some characters, we decided to do a couple rides. We still had some time to kill before our TSM FP's, so we headed over to Lights, Motor, Action! because there was a show starting soon.

Is light's motor action worth it ??? I've never been. Glad to hear that about TSM... can't wait to try it!

I don't think Mr. Potato Head is worth waiting in a huge line for, but maybe someday I'll see him!

If you don't have to wait long, or you want a sit-down break, or you like that kind of action stuff it was interesting. I don't know that I'd see it again, but it was cool to do once. (Just not in the heat of the day when hundreds of people are jammed in there and there's no air flow!)

There's no airflow? How disappointing!!! I don't like that kind of stuff. I'm not looking forward to it. LOL we'll see how bad DFi wants to see it... I know he's all about Indiana Jones (maybe I can persuade him to skip LMA for IJ!)

Haha. I think there were big fans up near the ceiling, but in the middle of a 90-some degree day in June, they certainly don't do anything!

I love that movie so it sounds intriguing, although I have not been there since I was about 6 years old haha. Can't wait for more!! Hope you are doing well

And Universal Studios, are they running ny promotions? My Dfi (six weeks-- ah!) will be military and we're going to tree house villas in july with no plans to do parks (unless we get the military disney pass for free for him and 99 bucks for me)... i'd love to try US.

The Mummy's at Universal. It's an amazing ride. We used the single rider line and rode it at least 5 times in a row one day.

Universal tickets are really affordable compared to Disney tickets. You can get a two park unlimited ticket for 7 days for only $99. I don't know if they have any discounts, but I'm sure if you went over to the Universal section of the boards you could ask.

Thanks Caitlin I was gone for like ten days and it felt like an eternity to be away from the boards!! I'm an addict what can I say.

I should have an update soon! Between the end of the nine weeks (and doing grades) and Animal Crossing and being in DC over Easter break I have been busy.

I did want to share something I found in the history museum in DC. I had to take a picture of it!

And one of my students went to WDW over break and she brought me a pin. Of Stitch! My favorite character. I was surprised, but it made my whole day. (Actually it made my whole week so far!)

They just redid the entire museum, so maybe it wasn't or wasn't out in the open.

I have seen some of the TR's with Stitch. I agree. Jack would be jealous. (And I love Jack because he's small and fits in a pocket or purse. I don't think I'd want to carry around something bigger!)
