Monster Maze

I had the same problem - with the Gold Doors - some spots you could see them others you could not - so I went through other doors to get through the maze and ended up coming out a pink door.

I ran into problems with people not being able to see the next teleporter door. Lot's of people saying "please go"..replied with "but I can't see it!". Ugh!..backups galore! I don't doubt that they could not see it, I came across one myself that I could only see half of.
Please, if you can't see the teledoor, step aside or exit so that others (who are in fear of disconnecting any second!) can move on.

Seagull hats were another problem. People in line with a big ole chicken on their head that blocked the teledoors. Please, leave the chicken in the coop while you do the maze! I am not impressed by your bird, I just want it out of my way! lol


After many (many) tries, I finally made it to the end. Phinny said the prizes would be given "on moon day".

They can give all types of new magic, and I still wouldn't waste my time with their huge joke on us.

I finally got through the purple maze last night I got a lot of lost connections at first, but later in the evening the lines were much shorter and I made it.
I think this maze event is a lot better planned than the last one and the purple maze was really fun. Wouldn't it be nice if they could give the CLs room operator powers for the event? I felt so bad for the poor girl running the entrance. There was a really bratty kid (at least I hope it was a kid) who couldn't go through the door and refused to leave the room. She was actually trying to extort the poor CL for stuff to leave so others could play. The CL couldn't do anything but call for staff and showed a lot of patience, but it would have been nice if she could have booted the brat. Only time I ever used the report button...I got disconnected so I don't know what happened.
Now to see if the prize comes up in my inventory

Well finally made it through the maze last night. I only dc'd about five times before I managed to make it to the end. And yes I did come across a couple of doors that would not cooperate. But luckily there was room to move to the side and let others go ahead. I think this event went a bit more smoothly than the others but there were still alot of people who kept trying to rush through before they dc'd.

Just a reminder everyone...you can only win one set of doors; unlike the Halloween maze that had three different prizes depending on the difficulty of the maze.

So, if you have won already, there is no advantage to going through again unless you just want to try the other paths for fun. I suspect that is why staff are taking guest names rather than awarding on the spot to ensure that guests don't win multiple times.

Oh so they only allow people to do the maze once?

You can do the maze more than once but you only receive a prize for the first time, according to the newsletter and what staff have told me.

If you have already won, as a courtesy to other guests still trying to win, you might want to hold off going through again until others have had a chance.

Oh because if everyone was allowed to win the prizes more than once than that wouldn't be fair. I get it!

Well, I think it is an attempt to keep the lines more manageable so everyone at least gets the chance. For most guests, once they make it through, if they don't get another prize, they'll stay out of the maze and go do something else.

I got through the gold maze, got into the end room and was waiting for the people in front of me to get into a chair so that I could...and dc'd It happened right after I said "Please move down in the chairs before we all dc" and them WHAM! I said I would give it shot, and I did. Shades of the Halloween event all over again.

What a bummer. I waited in the queue, then got into the room. Took forever for people to move so I could enter, then I waited in line...... then the very 1st door wouldn't open! After a few seconds of holding things up, I left the room so others could play, but ACK! Anyone had this problem?

First time I try it( purple path),end up getting stuck at entrance of Everest room..sigh. Later I logged back in,chose gold path maze,wait by 21 people,get in,and made it thorough the maze and got my name on before I logged off!! WOOT

I tried all day friday, I was out of town saturday, tried all day today.
I've been dc every time but the one time I got through on friday but didn't get the prize.
