Monster High Spectra & Abbey any luck finding them in stores recently?

Placed my order for Abbey this afternoon & just got my shipping confirmation right now!

I had scored Spectra and Torelai earlier in the week & of course tonight we are walking through Target and dd turns her head and there on the shelf is one lonely Spectra....she was nearly doing cartwheels she was soo excited to find her that she begged and pleaded for me to let her buy it with her bday money. So looks like my Spectra will be getting returned, but regardless we have a happy girl on our hands.

Just back from my Khols in Marlton NJ and they tons of monster high dolls. Didn't look at which ones they had but they had them in the toy area and in an isle display.

I picked up 2 Abbeys and a Spectra last week at Justice and sold them on ebay to make a little holiday cash. Thanks, DISers. I'm going to look for another Spectra or Laguna for my niece.

Spectra has been in stock for a few days now and Toralei's been in stock all day today. Either Amazon was holding tons of these back or they finally got lots of shipments and these aren't going to be as limited as people thought. It's funny to see the ebay prices on Toralei have dropped significantly over the past few days (less than 2 weeks ago they were in the $60-$80 range, now they're going for about $35). So I wouldn't worry much about the ebayers; at this point in time, after ebay and paypal fees, they're lucky to make about $10. And the longer these stay up on Amazon the lower and lower the selling price and their profit goes.

I took the advice of one of the posters earlier and kept trying back at Amazon several times throughout the day. All of a sudden Abby came up at normal price ($19.99) so I quickly ordered it. It stills shows as "in process" so hopefully it will happen. My advice is to keep trying because it worked for me just this afternoon!

I think after this week after the crazy shopping days, these will be harder to find and will go up in price on Ebay for a good profit. This happened last year after Black Friday for the first set of Monster High dolls.

Thanks to all the great DISers who helped me find Toralei for DD. I was just wondering if anyone has spotted a Gil anywhere recently (in store on online). DD is already gonna wet herself since I have managed to score an Abbey, Spectra, AND Toralei, but I would love to go one more step and find Gil for her. Any suggestions.

Thanks to everyone who shared info on where to look! I've managed to find a Spectra (the #1 item on my DD8's list) at Meijer last week, then I got lucky twice with Amazon this week and got Toralei and Abbey too. DD is going to be thrilled!!

Ok this has nothing to do with these dolls, but Mattel.com has the Draculaura jewlery box coffin in stock with 20% off and free shipping today. I was looking for this and it is out of stock everywhere..lol NOw if anyone can find a Gil for me my shopping will be DONE!!!! (we already got Abbey, Spectra, Toralei, the artist tote and now the bed for Draculaura!!)

Hmmm...the Abbeys and Toraleis I ordered from Amazon on Monday still haven't shipped. They have said "shipping soon" for days now. Has everyone else's shipped?

Yep. Mine says (and has said for the last couple days) "Delivery estimate:November 30, 2011 - December 5, 2011" but they haven't shipped yet. I ordered two Abbeys in one order, then two Toraleis in another.

Interestingly, I also ordered for a friend (on her account) an Abbey and a Lagoona, which shipped yesterday. I placed a separate order for her with two Toraleis, which also shipped yesterday. I ordered her dolls maybe two hours after I ordered mine.

I found Gil at Meijer in Richmond on Wed. Not sure what area you are in but if I find one I will grab it.

ETA: I am heading back to Richmond tomorrow to take my son back to EKU and I am still trying to help my friend find Toralei so hopefully I will have luck finding both.
