Monsieur Paul?

Now that I'm able to do more adult only trips, I like to try new TS each trip. Last time, I ate at Chefs de France. The food was good, the service fine, and the atmosphere at fireworks lovely, but I found the menu... Safe? Predicable?

Anyway, this time I've booked Monsieur Paul but I don't remember seeing much about it here. What do you think, especially how it compares to Chefs? I'm OOP this time, and the cost isn't going to shock me or anything. Just... Is the food and experience worth a try? Or should I move on from France and try Le Cellier or even Restaurant Marakesh?

Monsieur Paul is above and beyond better than Chefs, IMHO. The service is impeccable and the food is outstanding. It's also a very understated, quiet, elegant restaurant. It's, by far, the best restaurant in EP, IMHO.

One of the best meals we have had. This is way above and beyond Chefs de France. Our waiter was fantastic. The meal was paced well, never felt rushed. Each course was excellent.
I enjoyed the rack of lamb. It was a large rack that the waiter cut by the table.

Love it! We had a table by the window. Kind of didn’t even feel like we were in Disney and the desert was super good!!

All these accolades are heartening to hear!
I originally planned to make an ADR here for our adults' only autumn trip since I was concerned the food might be too heavy during the summer but found out the restaurant changes the menu a bit during the spring so have booked during the warmer season first.
Hopefully this will simplify my next attempt to book this eatery for New Year's Eve, LOL.
