So how are people getting to the poly and GF
Bus or launch. So how are people getting to the poly and GF
Sorry for not giving a specific time frame for my post.
We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. We exited the park around 9 and had a 45 minute wait for a boat back. The line for the ferry back to TTC was ridiculous. The CM at the dock was telling us they were probably going to do a soft close and forced extended shifts were occurring.
How?
If the guests all know that the park is open til X time, then they're going to leave at X time. Unless there were announcements made at some point in the park, everyone's gonna be on their way out of the park thinking it's closed.
I'm not extremely familiar with their procedures for closing the parks and getting everyone out. I'm going by what I was told. But, not everyone leaves the park promptly at closing time. People are on rides, in the shops, etc. I would assume since there was problems getting everyone out, they would let people wander around a little longer before actually forcing them out.
The poor monorail. When it works it's great but when it's down it's a nightmare. None of the alternate transportation methods are very good alternates. The boats just can't move as many people as the monorail can so getting back to Poly or GF isn't nearly as easy. CR guests can walk, though that's not so fun when you've been on your feet for miles and miles and hadn't counted on it. Still better than alternatives.
Yes! Definitely the way to go.I haven't been to MK in a number of years, but at closing time on busy nights, we would have a seat on a bench and let the crowds clear out. Do people still do that?
