How early does the monorail start running

The express monorail (for day guests) to Magic Kingdom has been known to make its first run as late as 20 minutes before official park opening. Meanwhile on early entry mornings guests are generally expected to show a room key to board the other monorail that starts running earlier, perhaps an hour before early entry begins.

During slower times of the year, they don't even start the Express monorail until later in the day. I have seen them use the resort monorail for day guests up until 11 am in Early December.

Our understanding is that the resort monorail starts running at 7:00, allowing monorail resort guests the ability to get to PSs and tours at MK.
