For those Monorail fans:

Recently, Monorail Yellow received a new and upgraded Monitoring System. Most of this system is hidden, and you can't see the inner workings... however, what you can see of it is a new updated drivers console with color touchscreen. Here are some pictures:

My boyfriend is a computer NUT!!! How often do they really let people ride up front with the driver on the monorails? I know if he could experience this it would really be a great experience for him...and its something he won't forget...thanks for your help!

Anyone can do it, at any time! All you have to do is ask. A maximum of 4 persons per front cab. If the first one is full, wait for the second one. It's not a long wait, and one of the best rides at Disney. A little note, though... this new monitoring system is only found in Yellow.... all the rest of the trains have the old computer system.

Computers are his thing! I can't wait to try ride!!!

Ths computer looks groovy. I didn't know WDW was letting people in the cab. DL monorail hasn't since 9/11 (at least I still have my co-pilots license). We'll have to try and get the nieces and nephews in the cab on their first trip in August!!!

We were trying to take the yellow monorail the other day. But it broke down at the TTC. When we realized there was a problem we quickly went to the resort monorail before everyone else decided to do the same thing. When they announced that the yellow monorail wasn't working you should have seen the mad dash to the resort monorail. We were packed in like sardines.

hey look, a hidden mickey!!!!!! ehhh.. not really... but still fun. It looks very user friendly, and as long as the program dosent crash.... but it looks fun, lots of buttons to push to keep ya from getting board hahahaha:p

Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
