Fun or not so fun fact about our DL monorail
It runs on an older track and thus has limited power supply to power and run the monorail than the one at WDW does. This means they cannot run an onboard air-conditioning unit on the monorails.... That's why they have openable windows.
They cannot run the system when the outside temperature over 82 degrees, so it will be interesting to see how they operate it this summer. They had the old Blue/Dreams one last year to make up for that short-coming. Now, it's gone.....
