I'm new here to the boards. This will be our first trip to WDW and we'll be arriving June 9. Just wondering, can you use the monorail to get from park to park if you are not staying on the resort? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

Although some will argue, I believe Disney Transportation is for everyone to use while at Disney. If you park at the Ticket and Transportation Center, um...they don't expect you to hoof-it to the different parks. So, I would say any park that you park at - they'd expect their patrons to use the transportation provided to get around.

I agree. It's not like anyone is sitting there asking for proof you are staying at one of the D resorts. However, keep in mind you can't get to all the parks on the monorail, Epcot and MK are the only 2.

There are 3 monorails. One goes to the monorail resorts (Poly, GF, Contemp) as well as MK and TTC
The Express goes to MK from TTC
EPCOT goes from TTC to EPCOT

You can park at the TTC and take either the monorail to MK or EPCOT or you could take the AK or MGM buses. It's faster to drive to the other parks. Unless you are hopping from EPCOT to MK I wouldn't use the TTC for parks other then MK.
