Monorail to parks

If we are staying at Port Orleans resort and go to the Contemporary for breakfast, can you leave your car and take the monorail to MK?

Agree with the above, and also, it is much faster to walk to MK from the Contemporary than to take the monorail.

If you're staying on site, it's free to park at the TTC. If you park at CR, you would either have to move your car to the TTC after breakfast, or pay $25 + tip for valet parking.

Taking the monorail from CR to MK could take 3 times as long as just walking. ( It has to go to TTC, Poly and GFR first).

CR parking is for guests staying at the resort or using the resort features (dining) for a limited time. It is neither large enough nor intended for theme park parking. If folks leave their cars there and go to the MK, guests paying a lot of money to stay there are unable to park their cars.
I agree with the others. Park at the TTC, monorail to CR for breakfast, then walk to MK for the day. When you are done just Monorail or Ferry back to the TTC and get your car.

Nope. The resort parking lots are not intended to be used for park parking.

No. Buses do not go from resort to resort. They only go from resort to park and park to resort.

Most of the time I take a taxi to meals at other resorts. It typically costs around $20, but to me that price is small compared to the hassle it saves me.

You can take the bus from PO to the Magic Kingdom and walk over to the Contemporary. It will be about a 5 - 10 minute walk. After breakfast you can just walk back to the MK which will be faster than taking the monorail because it will go to the TTC, Poly and GF before arriving at the MK.

No - but since your spending the day at MK anyway just take the bus from Port Orleans to the MK and then then monorail to the CR (first stop) or walk. Then after breakfast just return to the MK and then catch the bus back to POR after your day at the MK.

Alternately just drive to the MK, park at the TTC and take the monorail to the CR for breakfast, walk to MK and then return to your car after your day at MK.

IMHO MK is much easier by bus than car but then again I don't mind the bus service as not driving is one of my favorite parts of vacation !
