Wow, thanks for all of your responses!

I will take a cab - like I do for all my dinner reservations on most of my vacations. My feet will need all the rest they can get and, after having changed into a decent outfit, I'm not going to feel like working up a decent sweat again.

I'm very happy with my monorail resort - but of course, nothing is ever perfect.

I believe the Boardwalk is within walking distance of Beaches and Cream? The ice cream is calling my name, lol.

How about by car from the Wilderness Lodge. (sorry I messed up previous post)

You can drive to any resort for meals if you have a car at your disposal. The only resort I avoid parking is Grand Floridian, since it's a lot across the street that has half designated for cast member parking. I'd rather park at the TTC and monorail over in that circumstance.

You're welcome and I just wanted to say another option for Ice Cream you should think of is a location called Seashore Sweets. It's also located at the Boardwalk and it's right next to the Flying Fish, which I think is very good.

Thanks for the tip! I've never heard of that one.....sounds like something I need to check out as ice cream is a terrible vice of mine, lol.

So far, I have Ghirardelli's, B&C and now Seashore Sweets on my list - thank goodness for all the walking I'm going to be doing, lol
