is there a monorail from the Poly to Epcot or just MK?

The EPCOT monorail only goes to the TTC

The resort monorail goes Poly > GF > MK > Contemporary > TTC

And since you can walk from Poly to TTC, it's faster to walk to the TTC and take the EPCOT monorail.

There are 3 monorail lines:
1.Express Monorail: only goes back and forth from the Transportation and Ticket center(TTC) and MK,the TTC is basically the parking lot for MK so this monorail line is mainly for people parking at the TTC and going to the MK.
2.Resort Monorail: uses the same beam as the Express monorail but stops at all 3 resorts (Poly,GF and Contemporary) as well as the MK and the TTC.
3.Epcot monorail:this is a separate beam and goes back and forth from the TTC to Epcot.

So to answer your question from the Poly you would get on the monorail to the TTC and switch monorails and get on the Epcot monorail.However the Poly is very close to the TTC(about a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you're at) so you could walk over to the TTC and just get on the Epcot monorail.Two options are better than one,depends if you feel like walking a bit.

I'm a sucker for the grand monorail entrance into EPCOT (circling inside Future World) and hate how far the bus stop is from the EPCOT bag check, so I would take the monorail... But that might not be the fastest method.

It is not the fasted method, but from the monorail resorts, it is the only method unless the monorail is down.

It's best to walk from the Poly to the TTC and board the Epcot monorail there. If you take the resort monorail at Poly, you have 3 stops before the TTC stop. Then you have to exit down the resort monorail ramp, walk over and walk up the Epcot monorail ramp, to board the Epcot monorail. That's a lot of time and effort. Better to just walk over to the TTC. It's not far.
