Monorail to Epcot for early breakfast reservation?

hi all,

We are staying at the Poly in August and will be using the monorail from TTC to get to Epcot.

I've just seen that the Garden Grill now offers breakfast, and I'd love to make a reservation for 8.05am, but I can't seem to find the start times of the monorail service. So I'm now unsure if that's an option?

Any information would be greatly appreciated

That would mean that value resorts like All Star Sports would get vastly superior transportation to Epcot (starting at 6:30) compared with deluxe resorts like Polynesian.

I must admit, it does seem a shame if we are unable to take advantage of the Epcot monorail service from TTC, as that's one of the reasons we wanted to stay at the Poly. But I guess, the Garden Grill pre-park opening is a new thing and I guess the number of guests actually wanting to use the monorail for this will be small and therefore possibly it's not worth disneys while in running it that early?

Oh well, might have to rethink my plans, not sure I want to get the car out to get to Epcot - seems to defeat part of the object of staying at the poly!

I agree, it doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is. I've asked transportation managers more than once what the official plan is to get MK Resort Guests to Epcot for early breakfasts or tours, and never gotten a satisfactory answer.

When I was driving at MK early mornings, I know that the coordinator at TTC would sometimes order up a bus to take a Guest party from TTC to Epcot before monorail opening, but afaik that was done on an individual basis and not codified anywhere.

Bus transportation comes up at 6:30 from resorts to Epcot, including the resorts on the monorail loop. At 8am most days the trains fire up from TTC to Epcot and the monorail loop resorts lose the buses. If the trains cannot start up until after 8 at TTC busses start running from TTC at 8 and the buses at monorail loop resorts shutdown.

At the risk of sounding like a transport snob , we don't tend to use the buses. We will have a car, and generally for Mk/Epcot we stay on the monorail route and then for DHS and AK we drive. We are from the UK, so love to drive offsite to some of the U.S. restaurants that we don't get over here - so after a day at say, DHS, we then jump right into the car for dinner - works well for us and no queuing for buses! - win/win!

I think we will still go to the GG for breakfast, but will now do it on departure day - check out of the poly, load up the car and drive to Epcot for an early day. It will actually work out quite well as we will then have our car right there, ready for our move to AKL
