Monorail stops and Frequency

Since the DL train will be down during our visit and I had it as part of our transport for my touring plan, I am wondering if I can use the monorail in a similar fashion. Where are the stops and how often does it run (do not want to waste too much time waiting for it)?

The monorail can only be used between Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney. That stop is near the Disneylan Hotel. The monorail has only one stop in Disneyland, Tomorrowland.
