Just got back and had a blast at the Happiest Celebration on Earth! Just wanted to know if any other Dis members were on the orange monorail the night it stormed and the monorail lost power! We were all soaked and got on the monorail (that horrid orange one) and the doors shut and then it happened. The lights went off and no power. We sat there and finally lights came on thought they might open the doors but no... then lights went off again. Sat there for awhile as the windows fogged up. (my clever daughter wrote help me backwards for all outside waiting in the monorail line to see) Finally lights came on again and yes they kept us on and crawled to the ticket station. The whole way I just kept thinking please do not stop and make me use a window exit. WE made it though and saw the crew hug each other on exit and wipe sweat from their brows. IT made for a good story with all us being drowned rats and stuck ones. Must say glad I had my little 6 year old niece to stay calm for or might have had to have a panic attack. Anybody else in that rain or on that orange monorail?
