On another board I read but don't post to, I read a thread that, frankly, made no darn sense to me. The guy reported that during grad nite this year, all transporation that "touched' Magic Kingdom was shut down, including the monorail. He claimed that he and a number of other guests who were dining at the resort hotels ended up stranded and had to take a cab back to their resorts, which Disney ended up refunding due to "lack of communication" causing these issues.
Since we're planning a trip during grad nite and considering the CR, I just had to come ask me DIS peeps for better info.
Now maybe the way he worded it, it just doesn't scan for me. Perhaps what he meant to say was that no transportation STOPS at MK i.e. the resort loop still goes to all the monorail resorts and the TTC. Because if not, how in the heck would monorail resort guests get from Epcot back to their resort (unless transportation adds buses)? Can anyone with experience to this share what actually happens?
Thanks!
