I love going to the Disney area and just getting on the monrail and riding it. I hope to do so again this weekend. Any tips on how to get on it as the #1 entrance. For example, easiest to get on at the Grand Floridian? Polynesian, etc;? where does one park if one is NOT staying at any of the hotels with monorail access please? in the past, we've been dropped off, eat at the restaurants, buy merchandise, ride the mono and leave for the day. Any feedback and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are actually three different monorail loops.

Two of them are identical except one is a local and the other is express. Those two are; the Resort line running from the TTC clockwise to the Poly, GF, MK, Contemporary and finally back at the TTC; and the Express line running from the TTC counter-clockwise to the MK and continuing back to the TTC. The express line passes through the stations at the Poly, GF and Contemporary but does not stop. These are sometimes referred to as the Inner loop (Resort line) and the outer loop (Express line).

The third loop runs from the TTC to Epcot and back.

Its probably easiest to accomplish a looping monorail ride by parking at Epcot and taking the monorail to the TTC. From there, catch the local loop (you may want to get off at some of the resorts while you are at it) all the way around and back to the TTC. At that point, for completeness you can catch the Express loop to the MK and back to the TTC, before finally getting back on the Epcot monorail back to where you parked.

My sincerest thanks for that wonderfully detailed description of how I can catch the monorails! My sincerest appreciation!:yay:
