Monorail ride?

On our arrival day we won't arrive in Orlando until 2:00 p.m. I am guessing, if all of our flights are on time, we won't arrive at our resort (Bonnet Creek) until 4:00 p.m. We aren't interested in going into any theme parks (we need to make sure that the little ones get to bed on time!), but would love to take a ride on the monorail. Can you park at the GF, Poly, or CR without an A.D.R.? I am guessing we wouldn't need to park for longer than an hour.

Sure. Just tell the gate guard that you are doing some shopping at the resort (and do disembark and take a look inside the resorts at each stop, they are beautiful).

You can ride any of the monorail routes including to and from Epcot.

You can also park at the TTC but you would have to pay. Its just that depending on when you are going, if the resort is crowded, they check for ADR numbers and won't let other people in. If its not a busy time however, you should be fine to park at one of those resorts.

The best way to gurantee yourself a ride on the Monorail, is to do it on the day you go to the Magic Kingdom. This way you don't have to risk not being allowed to park at the Contemporary, Polynesian or the Grand Floridian without an ADR, because if the resorts are busy they could tell you to turn around & leave. If you do this on the day you go to the Magic Kingdom, you can ride it from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom & later in the day you can ride it to the Contemporary, Polynesian & Grand Floridian.
