Are there any Resort CS locations that are worth hopping onto the monorail from MK to spend some QS credits?
Just thinking of trying a couple of new places.

Captain Cooks at the Poly is definatly worth the trip :thumbsup2
We got the best pork sand called the aloha sandwich sooooo yummy! Had cucumber on it and a pineapple salsa or something with pineapple? But VERY good.

I would tell you that my LEAST favorite CS is Contempo Cafe. I would avoid it.

I would highly recommend going to the Contemporary and trying the Contempo Cafe because their menu is more upscail then the standard Quick Service locations in all of Walt Disney World.

I like Captain Cooks. They have an adult grilled cheese that is good. I don't like the stuff, but if you do, they serve Dole Whips.

we just went to Capt Cooks on Sunday. the food was good. and mmm dole whips for dessert!!

Capt Cooks is great, love the adult grilled cheese, bbq pork sandwich and the chicken lo mein is awesome

Gasparillas is very good too, we had a pizza there made to order and it was yummy...nothing like the normal CS pizza you get at other places and the italian cold cut sandwich was huge and super fresh

Loved the Contempo Cafe and Capt. Cooks. Contempo Cafe has a great grilled chicken sandwich.

I love Captain Cooks at the Poly. I always get the adult grilled cheese with their freshly made chips.

Definitely Captain Cook's! The sandwiches are good, and the fresh chips they make to go with them are really yummy! Plus, they have Dole Whips for dessert! :thumbsup2

So funny how opinions differ on the same places. Captain Cook's may be a must try! My wife wants Pecos bBill's but we are going to MK 2 days so I wanted to hop on the monorail and try another place. We are doing the QSDP this trip so I wanted to spend some credits on a new place.

We like Captain Cooks and Gasparillas at the GF.

This past trip we did Gasparillas. The sand. are huge and they have an ice cream machine there too. Lots of seating and not very crowded.

If you are leaving the park anyway all 3 are fairly good. We too like the pork sandwich at the Poly.
However, none of the food is good enough to leave Mk if you are just going back. There are plenty of good options in MK. (Too bad you can't leave HS to eat at a monorail resort though. ;) HS food is GROSS!)

We love Captain Cooks at the Poly :goodvibes. We don't care for Gasparilla's at the GF....we think Captain Cooks has a better variety ;). I can't speak for Contempo Cafe at the CR because we've never eaten there. But Roaring Forks is also good, IMO, if you wanted to take a boat ride and visit the WL :).

We really liked Backlot Express.

I know! And some people complain the food is all the same-well what are they doing at DHS?

I have only eaten one CS at DHS the last 3 trips. So not looking forward to CS there.
