Monorail Resorts- Can non-guests order from the pool bar menu?

I did mobile orders both in the morning hours and early afternoon and the pop up showed up both times so I assumed it was a permanent thing. Contempo never had a line either time I went, so it's not really needed IMO.

When I last saw it, it was around 10:20PM. The MK closed at 10PM, the app was showing a pick-up time window of 10:35PM-10:40PM and the cafe was closing at 11PM. But there were only a few people dining; we placed our order with the cashier (we weren’t guests) and the food was out within a few minutes.

The algorithm the app uses to calculate waiting times is frequently wrong — I’ve seen 45-minute waits projected but had my food in 5 — but it’s probably still set to “protect” guests. That is, in my case, give people in their rooms time to order their food before it closed.

You're really not reading the words I'm typing. Let me see if I can try to make you understand one more time: At BC's pool bar "Hurricane Hannah's, non-BC people, those just strolling along the walkway around Crescent Lake, can access a counter and order food WITHOUT entering the gated pool area. I repeat, this side of the pool bar is NOT BEHIND any GATE (read that again!) I've been a guest at BC more than once and have spent many afternoons at the main pool and ordered drinks and food from HH's. I have never witnessed any "utter chaos" due to the invasion you seem to want to imagine of non-resort guest ordering from the BC pool bar. If you read my OP again you will see that I was asking if a similar situation exists at any of the Monorail deluxes. That situation being a window that doesn't require entrance into the gated pool area. I know pool hopping is a touchy subject and I have never once even considered it and so I made a point to be clear that I wasn't interested in entering behind any security for resort guests. Are we clear now???? ETA: The pic I've attached shows the access the public has to HHs. There's even a sign on the public walkway stating it's open, effectively inviting people walking by to come order food.
💯 I like to hit HH sometimes when staying the Epcot area and a seat at the bar is the best. No need to be a guest and non-guests don’t jam the place up as it’s off the beaten path and rather unremarkable all things considered.

I’d still go to WL in this hunt though lol. Fwiw, I find the boat long and warm without AC so I take the very uncrowded bus to/from MK instead of the boat.

DH and I have been watching and reading reviews and Roaring Fork looks great. Geyser Pt. has been a must-do for the past couple of trips. We do the take out window and eat at the seating along the water. Such a great, relaxing meal/view combo!! No longer carting around our 4 little ones (they're with us at WDW but no stroller needed as the youngest is 23!), enjoying Food/Drink is an important part of our trips. We've been to WDW many times over the past 35 years so it's not just about rides for us. We have our faves but always looking for the next "hidden gem". Thanks for your suggestions. Appreciated!
We are Old-School Disney people: Respectful, rule-followers. I'm not looking to gate-hop into any area private for resort guests only! If Disney saw that non-guests patronizing these pool bars that they've allowed to be open to the general public were creating a problem for resort guests, then they would put a stop to it. That's what they did when they put gates around popular pool-hopping locations! But for now, if Disney allows non-guests to use some of the resort pool bars, then it's OK to do!

You can’t go wrong with any Disney QS restaurant but IMHO, Roaring Fork is “meh.” Trial’s End is a short boat or bus ride away and.a much better value IMO. And any of the monorail hotels have a better menu. And the dining room ambiance is quite poor - either a small enclosed room or on the patio in heavy foot traffic.

Geyser Point gets rave reviews but is overpriced IMO. For the same price as a cheeseburger, you can get an all-you-can-eat lunch skillet at Whispering Canyon — and can even order a refill to bring back to your room. Obviously you don’t get the Bay Lake backdrop while you dine :).

One of these days, I’d like to get back to Artist Point. Use to be a favorite when I was a tween/teen but it’s been 25-30 years since I’ve went and I’m sure it’s not the same.

It’s not. Now it’s Storybook Dining with Snow White & the Queen, prix fixe & a limited menu.

Honestly, if everyone who wanted to get a bite to eat/drink was able to enter the gate the pool area would be invaded. We all know that. How unfair to guests staying at the resort. Not everyone would be respectful even if you would. It would be utter chaos.

There are plenty of places to eat at resorts that are not behind a gate. Have a great trip.
That's not how it works for some poolside restaurants, though. Many (most??) also have a public facing side of the restaurant that is not behind pool gates. Anybody is welcome to order from that side. Pools themselves are reserved for resort guests; poolside restaurants are not.

Thanks! Trails End is on the list and we're going to look at the menu and read/watch reviews today. To some, this type of "research" might seem a chore, but its fun for us. And now that DH is newly retired (woohoo!) we have the time.
Since we're using the QS DDP on this trip (got free dining promo) and Geyser Point take out window has been confirmed to be a QS credit, its good use of that. We have our fave QS in MK but we would not get the "adult beverage" that is included with each QS credit..... and I like to "get my money's worth" out of everything!...... you know how us retired folks are. (hahaha)
