what is the best rate I can hope for at a monorail resort the last week in October? I have a DC, AP, and AAA.
We have never stayed at any of these resorts and would like to try one out - BUT we are more of an All Star budget family. The last two trips were at ASMo.
Do the rates ever drop to $150? $200?

Your best bet is using your AP discount (whenever Disney decides to release these rates). I have had several CRO operators tell me that the best deals are AP and October is a low attendance time, so you should be able to get a reseasonable rate. I am staying at the Polynesian (9/19-6 nights) at $230 a night (gdn view). GOOD LUCK!

I believe that people reported CR std at $134 with the last set of codes that just expired. It would be unlikely that the next set would be a lot higher if at all.

Just keep watching for new codes to come out, because I have personally found availability at the contemporary to be a problem. I think it's because of SOG closing & using one wing of the CR. The wing rooms are the cheapest, so they may also sell out more quickly.

Good luck!

We've gotten the Poly for 175-199 using DC during off-peak times. Just keep watching for deals!
