I saw this on a fact sheet about the Disneyland Hotel on a website.

"At busier times of day, typically evening and park closing, Disney Resort guests receive priority boarding at the Tomorrowland Station upon showing their resort ID slip."

Is this correct?

Can you use a DAS for a return time for monorail at the Tomorrowland station to DTD?

Because of my grandkids ages, we wouldn't be closing the parks down at midnight, probably leaving after evening entertainment each night ie after fireworks or Fantasmic.

I have heard monorail shuts down during fireworks, how long after does it usually start back up? Just trying to figure out the most efficient, shortest step way to get back to Disneyland Hotel, with tired kids at the end of the day. Ages 5,7,9.

I've never heard of resort guest priority boarding or seen anyone jump ahead. We found that at busier times of the day it was a whole lot faster to just walk back to DLH. Unless you are in the back of the park near the monorail, it can be a walk to get there and then a lot of standing in line. We have been in that line more than once, with my DH complaining that we could have already been back to DLH. We consider the monorail kind of more of a fun ride than actual transportation. If you want to start off in the back of the park and don't mind not having that morning Main Street walk, it can save you some walking in the morning, and if you happen to be back near that area and want to go back to the resort, it can save you some walking. There is a mass exit after fireworks. Unless you are near the front of the monorail line at that point, you are probably better off just walking it.

DAS does not work on the monorail.

The monorail shuts down for the night at 7pm. It has not been running after fireworks at all since it came back.

The fastest route is to walk. That is always the fastest way. The monorail saves steps, but not time.

DLH guests are no longer given priority boarding.

Unfortunately, the hotel guest priority boarding has been gone a long time. Growing up an hour away from Disneyland, I was always jealous when visiting as a child of the people standing in the “hotel guest only” line at the Monorail. When I finally stayed at the DLH as an adult for the first time (and this was probably 20-ish years ago), the hotel guest line was already a thing of the past. 🥺 I do wish they would bring it back! Sometimes it’s those little perks that help make an on-site stay a little more magical.

No, it has existed in the last 20 years. It comes and goes.
