monorail questions

I'm a first timer and desperately trying to plan everything, but the whole transportation thing has me scared to death!!!!

Here are my questions (at least for today). . .
1. Can you ride the monorail from MK to Epcot?

2. What is the best way to get to the Contemp. from BC? Would it be best to get a taxi?

3. Can you ride the monorail from Contemp to Epcot?

1. Yes. You'll have to switch monorails at the TTC.

2. Not sure what BC is...

3. Yes, switching at the TTC again.

BC = Beach Club. To get from CR to BC, you've got about three choices:

1) Walk from CR to MK, get the bus to BC. The MK bus depot is between CR and the MK entrance, so it's not too bad a walk at all.

2) Take the monorail from CR to TTC, change to the Epcot monorail, and walk through Epcot to the International Gateway, continuing on to BC. Very long walk from the Epcot monorail station to BC, more than a mile. Will also require you to use up a day on your pass to get into Epcot.

3) Take a taxi.

Yes you can take the monorail to EPCOT.

You can take a bus to MK from the Beach Club and actually walk back to the Contemporary. It takesabout 3 minutes to walk.


I do beleive that you would have to get off the monorail at the TTC and board another monorail to EPCOT. I could be wrong on that.

Do not get overwhelmed by the transportation. Just ask a cast member the fastest way to get from point a to point b.
Most important thing that i learned is that you canot take a bus from hotel directly to another hotel.

You're not wrong.
There are actually THREE monorail routes (with multiple trains running on each route).

On each route, the trains will "loop" around and around on their own unique track.

1)"Epcot Monorail" TTC > Epcot > TTC >
2) "MK Express Monorail" TTC > MK > TTC >
3) "Resort Monorail" TTC > Poly > Grand Floridian > MK > Contemp. > TTC >

As you can see, you can transfer from or to any monorail at the TTC (which is also the MK parking lot stop).
